Some football to keep us entertained. At 3pm this afternoon (Saturday 21st) the club will be showing the Walsall away game from Jan 04 with accompanying social media coverage. You can watch here: Think this is a great idea from the club.

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

Britannia is owned by Alex Langsam, one of the richest men in the country said to be worth about £250m by the Times Rich List. Surprise surprise he's a non taxpayer who since 1999 has been registered as living in Austria for tax-purposes. And to top it all off he made a decent chunk of his...

Imagine living in a foreign country working a shitty job on minimum wage. Worried about you family back home in Italy or Spain when someone gives you this. They're live in staff as well so lose their accommodation and, according to the news reports earlier, some can't even travel back to their...

Can see teams who are mid-table and not in danger of going up or down not taking it very seriously. Will be like a pre-season for them.

I'd like to say this was unbelievable but we all know its very believable.

    Home Working Thread

WFH doesn't really change how I do my job given that I'm the only one based up here anyway, the rest of the company is down south. Just means not sitting in a couple of hours (on a good day) of traffic and not having to pay for the dogs daycare. Only real difference is I've been told not to do...

    Peterborough Chairman Video

This should be the case anyway. Players should be with the big clubs who have a chance at breaking through. Not hundreds signed so they can make money off them and they cast them aside. IMO the loan system would be much better if the parent club still paid wages and there was no fees, players...

    Home Working Thread

I popped to Ikea at lunchtime to get a desk for home thinking there would be nobody in there. Loads of people wandering aimlessly around and buying random crap, people really aren't listening to the advice. Was plenty of meatballs though so grabbed a couple of bags of those for the freezer.

    Wasps downward spiral...

Pretty much every club is doing it. Did notice in the video Dave Busst posted that he said they deliver to people in need every week and are still doing that while things are in short supply.

    The importance of momentum

They're still in training aren't they? Sure I read something saying Robins had dropped it down to 3 days but they will still doing something.

    Coronavirus

If they're doing anything would think it would be working on converting hotels to temporary hospitals or assisting the emergency services if they have a significant number off sick. Can't imagine tanks rolling through Broadgate to encourage people to stay at home!

    Coronavirus

If its the video I've seen its 3 tanks being moved. Same thing that happens all the time. Even if the army were being called it not very likely they're going to be going round in tanks is it?

Who owns Virgin Group, the majority shareholder of Virgin Atlantic, now? Tried googling the answer but not getting anything but Branson.

But how do they know who is vulnerable. I've done a click and collect for a weeks time but its for my Mum and Dad who are in their 80s, can't go to the store and got completely confused when they tried to do it online. How do they know its for them and not me? Would rather know if they aren't...

Think they only own 49%, isn't the rest still owned by Virgin Group (ie Branson).

So you can only borrow £183K. What have we lost, roughly, in ticket revenue for the remaining games? Is that what they're trying to compensate for? Then they hope it all gets sorted over the summer and back to business as usual next season.

    Supermarket shortages

Anyone know what is happening with deliveries, can't find any info online. If you can actually book a slot and get an order in are they picking your order overnight when there's actually stock or is the van going to turn up and you get about three things from your order as everything else was...

Presume you will still owe it and have to pay it at some point. Just they can't kick you out if you can't pay now.
