Yes they are but they aren't included in the figure being announced daily by the government. You have to get that data from the ONS figures which are published weekly but deaths can not show on there for weeks due to the way the system of registering deaths work. Normally its not an issue as...

This is, IMO, the best option. Instead of looking at what has been recorded as coronavirus deaths look at excess mortality.

Not really down to care home death not being recorded correctly, its the lag (which is weeks) in the deaths being registered and the ONS publishing the figures. The FT aren't plucking figures out of thin air, they're looking at the existing published data and then using that to model the...

Why is any criticism of Johnson or the government met with something like 'you don't like the man' rather than an actual response to the criticism? There was zero substance in there. What do you know now that you didn't know before his speech? He's talking about lockdown being a success...

Interesting that the plan for easing restrictions and starting the move towards ending lockdown sees them move to something similar to what we are terming lockdown. Shows how relaxed our restrictions are compared to others.

Just moved from renting to being a homeowner. Won't be too happy if 20% suddenly drops off the value of the house and doesn't recover pretty quickly.

EFL Decision on Coventry’s future expected today

If they idea is to remove the need for meaningless games do we know how many games that are due to be played are actually meaningless. Look at our division, teams have 8 to 10 games to go, that's 24 to 30 points available. Gillingham are 11th and 8 points off the play offs Accrington are 17th...

I completed just before all this kicked off. Was already concerned about doing it now in case Brexit caused prices to drop, now this on top. Hopefully everyone is just in a holding pattern and things will spring back to life without prices collapsing.

    Are you happy

As hard as it must be keep in mind that how they do at school isn't the end of the world. I went to Finham and the thing I've noticed from catching up with everyone on Facebook is the ones who left at 16 with not much in the way of qualifications seem in a better place than the ones who went on...

    Are you happy

My finances were a mess after the divorce without having the cost of kids to worry about. Its a tough hole to get out of. When you're older you don't want to go back to living like you did as a teenager, either with your parents or in a shared place. Wouldn't do your mental health any good. But...

EFL Decision on Coventry’s future expected today

Can see the advantage for Sky. Gives them a load of content. They could even push for the whole thing to be held somewhere like St George Park which would save them the cost of keep moving around their production setup.

EFL Decision on Coventry’s future expected today

Would guess it would work out that most teams had 3 or 4 games but I'm not going to work them all out! So it would be a tournament of 14 games per club but we'd start having played 10 (W4, D5, L1) on 17 points. Oddly our 4 remaining games would all be at home against Rotherham, Oxford...

Is there any reliable data on what percentage of people who get it actually experiencing symptoms and to what level of severity? Would have thought that was a fairly important thing to establish when working out how to move forward.
