People's failure to see potential in Gyokeres was a mystery to me, but defending him on here was pointless. Still applies today - look at some of the ridiculous negative comments about EMC for example. People see a couple of poor touches, and there's no way back once they've made that...

Why not? The Neanderthals get a very unfair press in that regard. Finding one fit to play might be a stumbling block though.

Presumably the OP knows enough about the inner workings of the club, and indeed the detailed reasons behind any mistakes happening on the field, to justify naming a couple of guys on the CCFC staff and calling for them to lose their jobs?

Not been able to read any threads this afternoon. I presume it's been noted that the Oxford goalscorer slyly moved the ball a foot to the right while the ref was dealing with stuff, and after the wall had been positioned. That move made the goal possible, and it was perfectly executed tbf.

Couldn't agree more. Can't imagine why people feel the need to pile in. Done in person it would be bullying, but people seem comfortable doing it anonymously.

FFS just one person is defending him like crazy, and one more has chipped in with a strange suggestion for farming him out to a top European side. Others (including me) have tried to post balanced thoughts, nothing ferocious about it! Can't say the same for all the "dogshit" remarks etc. being...
