    Our Weakest Position

Wright is now into confirmation bias territory with people watching him all game expecting a poor performance - most strikers will look poor when they don't score.

I suspect it was because Frank really didn't rate Simms (see: not playing him tail end of last season) so he wanted a better backup, given BTA was scoring regularly from other positions. I really don't think Bamford was being eyed to replace Wright - at that point Wright was one of the top...

Bamford was never coming in as the starting striker though was he

Doesn’t make sense since the US often call up championship players. And stinking out the championship will hardly secure him a prem move.

Half of you really don’t deserve to be supporters of a table topping club lmao Post slagging off our centre half after a game in which he was the only one of the first choice back 6 starting and the only goal we conceded was a half volley worldie 🤣

Today the game was incredibly slow, in other games he has struggled with a lack of time on the ball. Still not convinced he is ready for this level, but it was a decent game from him.

    Our Weakest Position

A month ago people wanted £20m+ for Wright and now it’s apparently our weakest position in the squad 😂😂😂

Haha so predictable that people are losing their heads Today was a decent outcome. Esse and Yang looked promising, no one got injured and we don’t have any more distractions from the league. Honestly the pace of the game was like a preseason friendly, felt like both teams knew it wasn’t the focus.

    Our Weakest Position

On form? Simms is averaging a goal every 90 and has 2 in his last 2 starts. Just play him and bench wright for the time being.

Thought the header was harder than it looked, he was almost too close and was under it. Did look a bit disinterested generally though.

Happy with that team! Could make for an exciting game. That front 4 is a top quality championship attack when on form.

I’m quietly hopeful that we start YMH - Wright - Esse and they’re absolutely electric together.

Wright is currently 2nd choice for me so he should play. He can rest when he’s benched in the league.

Exactly. Leicester is a big game for multiple reasons, getting some match minutes today will prepare them better than any training can.
