Match Thread Coventry City at Brighton and Hove Albion Match Thread - Saturday 17th Feb

Just got back.enjoyable day but totally outclassed from start to finish. That isn’t a gripe against the boys but Brighton were much much better than we were. McNulty and JCH worked well but had scraps to feed on all day. Both grimmer and Haynes had tough days and had little cover from their...

Match Thread Coventry City at Brighton and Hove Albion Match Thread - Saturday 17th Feb

Both clubs will or should have one eye on the league but good to have a break from our dismal performances recently. It’s going to be a long day and opted for the car instead of a day on the piss so strictly business only now. Can’t see us getting anything, I predict a workman like performance...

Taking sides for local derbies/big rivalries

Does the budget reflect our position?

my concern is that well sell more assets and back to square one, we have a habit of not replacing quality with quality but maybe buy two players (or loan) of lesser quality which demonstrates the slide down the table year after year.

Sky Sports pay £4.5bn for Premier League Games

I think a lot of premier league fans would disagree as they are seeing their teams spend massive amounts on players where only 5 years ago they wouldn't have dreamt it. It will obviously have an implosion point of course but I doubt a lot of fans are seeing this whilst on the gravy train.

Does the budget reflect our position?

This year I was more confident of success given that we had actually signed players rather than loaned. We have gone down the loan route for too many seasons which was an unrealistic reflection of the strength and depth of the squad. For me our club have in the main been positive about the...

Sky Sports pay £4.5bn for Premier League Games

I dont subscribe to any tbh but its getting more and more difficult to watch any sport without costing you. I used to watch F1 (when it was interesting), cycling, football, Golf, cricket which most of them have now gone to SS. The only one I can still get away with (sort of) is cycling on...

    Hull Protest against SUFC

i work in Yorkshire and know a few blades and they are all arrogant idiots when it comes to their team. Gloating when they win but then cry they have no money when they lose.

They have been warned then so they can stop whining like they did against us. Good luck to Hull

    Tom Clarke of the Enemy

I am not convinced we need it, surely they can do something with the Jag arena i.e. partitions etc to make that smaller if required. You only have to take the o2 in Brum which attracts decent bands ongoing but probably holds circa 3k I would reckon with the added negative that its a fucker to...

A realist in this time of gloom

I think the irony is probably we make more money getting to the 6th round than getting promoted

A realist in this time of gloom

Don't think we have the consistency to get a play off spot which is disappointing but I hope I am wrong. He sets the team up too defensively away from home and we never look like having a proper go until we go 1-0 down. Teams come to our ground like Saturday and have a go at us, sometimes it...
