    Love snow

My brother's head office is in Wimborne & they were all sent home over an hour ago. The snow is very heavy. Take it easy if you're heading that way.

    VAR tonight

The FA seem to be ignoring all other sports & leagues that are currently using VAR, it can't be as bad in Germany or Italy surely? It seems that UEFA aren't convinced yet FIFA are and it will probably be used in Russia this summer. I am not against it but don't think it should be used where the...

What are you currently listening to?

My wife bought me a self contained turntable with speakers & amps for about £40 and it's great going through my vinyl collection, no chance of any charity shop having anything like that up here. I was in Sainsburys again on friday and helped myself to a greatest hits cd by David Bowie, never...

    EVans resigns

I used to work with his brother-in-law (Evans married his sister) in Peterborough and he was shocked that Evans didn't go down for his part in what went on at Boston, I am pretty sure the chairman was jailed. When my friend got married in 2010 Evans or his wife didn't turn up at his wedding but...

    High Mileage Diesel

We've got 2 Volvo diesels, an 03 plate V40 which has done 200,000 and an 05 plate XC70 which has done 135,000. Both had a fsh when we bought them and I've never done anything on the V40 except check fluids etc and get anything that has broken fixed and have done nearly 30,000 in 4 years trouble...

    New header

I don't think Le Tissier played after we lost 0-1 to Italy in a world cup qualifier in 1997 where he was made the scapegoat for a poor performance in a new 343 formation yet McMananam who was as ineffective continued to be picked.

What are you currently listening to?

My friend has seen Limehouse Lizzy loads of time and he says that they are very good and as Thin Lizzy are his favourite band and he saw the real thing on every UK tour they did that is a good enough recommendation for me. He told me they were talking at work about the best band made up by any...

    Coventry transfer deadline day

Yes you're right about Stoke. Another home defeat as we slid down the league after christmas.

    Coventry transfer deadline day

I think you're right. I am sure it was a windy day blowing from the West End and he had launched a few that made it all the way to our goal before he scored. I don't think Avramovic payed for us again after that

    Coventry transfer deadline day

Raddy Avramovic was 33/34 when he joined us in 1983 and he was shocking

    Coventry transfer deadline day

Yes but not him. Whilst he is a good footballer he is a thug and has had plenty of troubles in and out of football including headbutting an Elvis impersonator on a night out in Dublin

What are you currently listening to?

Had to go into Stirling whilst my son was football training so I popped into Sainsburys to kill some time. They had a load of greatest hits CD's for under a fiver and I couldn't resist Waiting for an Alibi by Thin Lizzy for £3. I already have a couple of their albums, Live & Dangerous on CD and...

    Biggest Transfer Shock

Marsden seem to lose his way at Wolves, not sure if he was injured, but was very good at Southampton and was a consistent performer for them in the PL. Robertson was very poor, not sure what happened but he wasn't with us very long

    Another confessions time anyone??

Weren't fishymores and SkyBlueScotland the same guy? He was a very angry man!! Used to love citizens_arrest, many of his comments made me laugh out loud

    Another confessions time anyone??

I like Sunderland more than Newcastle and I don't mind Aston Villa. I hate Leicester though!! I nearly voted Conservative at the last election to try & stop the SNP candidate winning but my conscience wouldn't let me. The Conservative won anyway which strangely made me very happy.

    Biggest Transfer Shock

It was Wolves but it was soon forgotten when we splashed out £250K on Sandy Robertson

    Biggest Transfer Shock

I know the season before he was injured at the start and then we picked Rousell to play with Keane. It was a shock to me that we sold him 2 weeks before the start of the season just after selling Keane, maybe he wanted to move back up north. I am not sure when Bellamy came in.

    Biggest Transfer Shock

Not buying Chris Marsden & selling Noel Whelan not long after we had sold Robbie Keane.
