    Ostigard

He should be on a Weetabix or '3 Shredded Wheats' advert!

    Ostigard

He was a little rash at times early season but he has put in some very mature performances and without Fadz alongside. His heading is immense but I have been impressed with his improved distribution from the back. He isn't the quickest but otherwise is looking a very good all-round defender.

    Will we stay up ?

Luckily we have some very decent midfielders at this level (James, Hamer and O'Hare) with great work rate and we have a guy at the back (Ostigard) who is playing well above his age, and will be a contender for player of the season at this rate.

    Will we stay up ?

Gutted with some of the results today with Rotherham, Forest and QPR winning. I just hope we are able to keep the work rate up over this difficult month of games and avoid losing any more to injuries. If we can stay up and regroup it will be a great achievement. We somehow need to sneak a win...

    Ratings - Watford

Marosi 7 (wasn't really troubled but did most things as expected) Dacosta 7 (super cross for Biamou header. Not used enough) McCallum 7 (best game for a while against a pedigree player. Didn't get forward much) Rose 7 (great to see him lasting 90 minutes. Won a lot of headers. Understandably a...

    Stroppy

My mood is so dependent on the result and performance. Every game feels like my insides go to battle. It's exhausting. If we play badly and lose or we throw it away at the end I feel like I return slouched over the back of a horse with an arrow in my back. If we win I return on a prancing horse...

    Match Thread Coventry v Watford

Interesting that both new signings Reid and Kavares didn't feature at all for the U23s today. I wouldn't be surprised if they both are on the bench for Saturday. Unless they are trying to keep separate bubbles in light of the two COVID cases.

    Match Thread Coventry v Watford

I am concerned if Rose is expected to play 90 minutes against Watford due to his lack of game time and risk of further injury. The same can be said of Dacosta. Pask looks far too awkward in the wing-back role. I would go for Rowe on the bench.

We need a bit of luck

I agree. Against Forest there were so many deliveries that were just inches away from their target. We battered them but nothing fell our way. If the Baka challenge happened the other way around we would probably have been penalised with a penalty! Some of the injuries have been bizarre and...

    Ratings v forest

We are a bit short in the central defence department with Drysdale on loan, McFadzean returning from Covid, Thompson recovering from a gashed toe and Rose returning from long term injury. He does have Pask, Sheaf and maybe even Eccles as options there but not ideal. At the same time we don't...

    Baka

Unfortunately I think he will be out for a long while. Looked a serious head injury. Hopefully he is going to be okay.

    Ratings v forest

We should have had 6 points against Forest and come away with 0. Marosi 6 (he wasn't even noticeable on Forest corners which puts much more pressure on the defence. Opposite to Forest keeper) Pask 6 (at fault for first goal but defended solidly after that) McCallum 6 (distribution not great...

    Transfer Rumour Saido Bereahino

A lot of these players are written off for having an apparent bad attitude but often they are barely adults. The frontal lobe is still developing until mid to late twenties in men. I am not sure how I would handle being bigged up as an arising star in my early 20s. Sometimes it the agent or...

    iFollow attendance

I think I read somewhere that a club only gets revenue from iFollow for away matches if over a certain number subscribed from that club.
