    Can we compete

And if we do get promoted, a higher level of player will more likely want to come. Maybe we can finally allocate £17k pw to Kelvin Wilson.

    Can we compete

About right, the reason for our success was the whole was stronger than the sum of our parts. Like last season, loans will be vital.

    Can we compete

With what is going on, next season could be absolute chaos... and where there is chaos, there is opportunity! Stick to 361, and hope we can get Walsh (or equivalent), and we may be good!

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

If the top 3 do go up... expect poor seasons from some of the 'bigger' 4 to 8 placed teams. If they hadn't been promoted after 44 games and P/Os... then the realisation that they are not good enough kicks in and changes are made... now these clubs have an excuse to fall back on, and may not...

    Hickman

It would not have been a 'personal highlight' if it was during the Slade era... Young man makes mistake... pays the price and learns the hard way. But then people enjoy others misfortunes. Sad really.

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

End the season... promote the autos, but could teams 3 to 6 play a one off semi final and a final within, say, 4 days. At one venue that is 'bio-secure', which really means less risky. Could have 2 L2 p/o games one day, L1 next, Champ after then the finals day after day after day... I'm sure...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

It may be a bit sad but, should they be confirmed as champions, maybe they do a live presentation / celebration / conference on youtube with MR and the players - whilst being 2m away from each other (widescreen camera pls)... better than nothing.

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

I think relegation will not a big issue like with the Premiership, in that all clubs going down (some harsh, some deserved) will remain in the EFL. However, I see the 2nd promotion slot in the National Lge disappearing with Barrow taking Bury's spot.

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Who would have thought of the importance of going on a great run in late Dec to early March?!!

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Not sure what the rules are on this. Nearest thing I think of is a greyhound leading at the final corner and the hare stops, which voids all bets. That may be the case, but some bookies may pay out for PR purposes if their liabilities aren't too high.

I have... We miss the play offs by one point, thanks to Bakayoko missing a sitter in the 98th minute v Wimbledon :(

EFL Decision on Coventry’s future expected today

Put this on the French League post... How I saw what would be the best solution (for Coventry fans)... 1) EFL do not continue the regular season; 2) The Premiership re-starts, almost like a war-time morale booster to entertain people at home (I am sure Boris will give it some bluster should it...

    all french leagues cancelled

Hi all... haven't been on since the outbreak... been too sore to contemplate no promotion. The PSG development does give me hope, but the best case scenario I can see (for Coventry) is the following: 1) EFL do not continue the regular season; 2) The Premiership re-starts, almost like a...

Roll call for Notts County away Saturday at 3pm

From memory... there were 3 Friday night games that season. The Wycombe Doyler goal win before Xmas, then the Stevenage & Notts County games in lovely weather... both great wins! Because of that, I was excited for the Burton game the season after on the Friday... until Burge provided Jamie...

    Good on Paper XI

I expected him to be better from his days at Rosenberg... he was certainly playing second fiddle to the likes of Boateng & Whelan in the 2nd half of his first season.
