    Kidderminster or Birmingham

Kidderminster is even closer to me, 10 miles, than Walsall, 15 miles. So it will be much easier for me to join the protest OUTSIDE. Won't be inside.

    Breaking news

Stuart, after all is said and done I think very few will follow the city outside of Coventry. Some are underestimating how many older supporters we have and how a line of trust has been crossed. Support is very loyal but it is not unconditional and I really believe no more than a quarter of our...

Vote NO on Up The Saddlers.com

We know what they think just by reading the threads. As many Saddlers are against as Sky Blues. It is always the case with online polls. They only give a snapshot. But they do allow the application of pressure. Politics and all we fans have just now.

Vote NO on Up The Saddlers.com

The Walsall forum, Up the Saddlers, has an open poll asking if they are happy with the idea of a ground share with CCFC. You don't have to have a log in just vote. Needless to say I have voted NO. Get over there and vote NO if you want to show support.

Ah but ACL and CCC should have given the club the Ricoh for free because, er, because, give me a minute, it'll come to me. Because we are not going to be their cash cow any longer. They only invested a big button and, well, it's only fair that they should give the club it. Now. Or else. It will...

    Fixtures Tomorrow

Precisely. I didn't go to Arsenal or Spurs or Man Ure. I did go away to Crewe, Walsall, Reading, Peterborough, Wolves, Blues, Forest in the last 3 years.

There you go you see. You assert that it is inflated rent. Firstly, how can you be so certain what is a reasonable rent and what deals have been offered? Secondly, a whole new negotiation may take place in which a lower still rent is offered. But you've already decided it is inflated. Maybe it...

    Knowl[GMK] says.....

It makes no difference as it is totally unnecessary and you underestimate the majority older age fans if you believe they will meekly follow. For many it was a real wrench to move to the Ricoh. They won't be moving again and will be lost forever. In 3 years time most will have kicked the habit...

    Fixtures Tomorrow

If we draw a big club in the cup the ground fills up because the armchair Sky fans want to see them play. If it wasn't our dormant fan base it would be random glory fans of other teams. I won't be there unless it is at the Ricoh, even if it's Man Ure, Chelski or Real Madrid.

    Knowl[GMK] says.....

Actually yes because the club can only grow if it has a dormant fan base to entice back. That will never happen if we move from Coventry. Would it be better if we couldn't ever attract big crowds? How so?

Well an opinion about where CCFC should play does not really affect you like it does thousands of others. Surely you see my point?

If The US Government And The Taiban Can Do It

Who cares what ACL's business model is? I care what CCFC's is.

If The US Government And The Taiban Can Do It

I fear the same but surely SISU can see there is no future except liquidation in their stated plans? Maybe they can even engineer that to cover their losses against tax liability in other companies or something complicated like that. Otherwise it makes no sense to me and it's sucking all the...

If The US Government And The Taiban Can Do It

Yes, I would. I don't like them but they own the club and will continue to drag it down. If they stay at the Ricoh they might see a way to exit with some of their alleged investment. As I said it is a commercial imperative for both sides. It's business.

If The US Government And The Taiban Can Do It

Commercial pressures on both should be enough to get them to talk. It may need new reps on each side with an agreement to wipe the slate clean and a genuine desire to do a deal. I would like to see both sides agree to a third party observer to take notes with the deal being that if no...
