    Atmosphere

Can’t say I hung around like a sad hat to clap them off…..fucksake you can’t encourage them to humiliate themselves. Applaud when it’s apt, otherwise slope off quietly and contemplate the £66 that cost me for two tickets with not even a goal to celebrate😕

I think people are just talking about today. The lad was pretty dreadful and made many unforced errors. I’m sure that he will watch this himself and be disappointed. He’ll be back as will the rest of them . Ultimately we were caned by a team on speed today who were first to everything from the off.

    Positives

Positives,…..My loaded Mexican steak at the Bull was cooked perfectly. It wasn’t raining Stoke didn’t take all their chances Robins took it on the chin like a man and didn’t offer excuses. The club made a few quid. The rest was fucking shite

Fucksake you read some shit and wind ups here but…..I’m pretty sure those that started to stream out ( not us ) were not able to be identified by loyalty points 😃 I’m gutted though tonight, I keep missing all the big victories. My last four games have been Stoke, Hull, Cardidff and Swansea. I...

    That’s on Robins

The issues lay today in the whole team. Particularly, McNally, Eccles and Howley….but the others were almost equally as bad. The real truth though is Stoke were excellent , played out their skins !

The arrogant strut from that lad today, he was shocking…….back to basics for him it was pitiful.

Don’t care where the goal comes from but please May the first goal be ours. That will maintain the atmosphere and excitement in the home end. Hamer likes a nice goal against these🙏

    Our home support

Found that a fantastic read. For years I knew that it wasn’t the new stadium to blame for it being a bit soulless . In the last few years the younger generations have really embraced the club, it’s become trendy again to be a Cov fan . Robins and his team have lit the place up and United...

    Wouldn't it be good....Blackburn (away)

We took a stack up there in that 2-2 cup game.

Football at our level is still very much a working class man’s day out and £33 is too steep as a starting point for many. I know what the accountants and mathematicians will say but it’s a shame as I reckon this could have attracted 26000 at the right price.

    Pub's now and then.

All this talk of pre match pubs makes me wonder, in these days of the CBS and the pubs around CV6……how many drinks do people partake in before games these days and what time do they start on a Saturday 3 pm ?! We are normally in our favourite watering hole for 12 and I usually have 4 pints but...

Really, sales figures so far look about average. I still maintain the £33 price will put off a lot of people. I’d love to see 25000 but needs a sales uplift to achieve that.

    Pub's now and then.

Our merry gang used the Rose and Crown on Walsgrave Rd for many years circa 1989- 2003 before walking up to HR through Ball Hill .

I can see now that it was actually Peter Billings debut….came on as a sub for Killer. 25th Oct 1989. We had a good side .

Vik on the bench vs Belgium

He’s a Swede and he will sooner or later put money first. It’s in their nature, I’ve worked with the Swedes for 30 years. Let’s just hope when it happens we can capitalise on it.

    Big match

Ayresome Park, Middlesbrough was interesting back in the 80s. I seem to remember a lot of barbed wire 😬

I went to QPR for a cup game and saw Kevin Drinkell score an overhead kick, might have been his debut….thought we’d signed a superstar 🙄

    Local support

That’s very optimistic. There are quite a lot of us here and many moons ago they used to run buses back to the Coventry car factories to encourage ex coventrians to move out…..but 50/50 nah, I’d say still 70/30 Leicester but then saying that the biggest supported team in Burbage is actually...

    QPR away

Well folks, this comes down to that old adage that if people still pay it and go they will continue to keep raising prices. Painful as it is, sometimes you’ve just got to say no ! The same applies for Cheltenham Festival, Glastonbury etc etc
