I try to avoid commenting on highly emotive topics until I have had a chance to analyse all the facts. With this, I struggle. A lot of people know me as being quite unemotional but I am at heart a real "softy". I see a lot of fathers, quite rightly, identifying with the victims families, and I...

    joke(s)

Was walking home from work and some random guy threw a jar of mayonnaise at me, I was like "what the Hellmann's?!"

    Recruitment has been shocking

Now say the opposite of everything you just said! Erm...Saddlebrains is an....optimistic man, with lots of well thought out, practical opinions. His ITK status is ensuring the forewarning of events at the club on this forum for years to come. Oh, and his lack of bedwetting is above reproach

I'd love Alex Mowatt, not going to happen though. Played well most times I have seen him play and think he ran the game for West Brom at The Hawthorns last season

    Match Thread Everton Match Thread

I can see a case for both, depending upon the circumstances. Applause is more of a celebration of someone's life, and silence is more of a sombre reflection/respect. Given today is to observe the passing of someone so young and sudden, silence just sounds intuitively more appropriate. But as...

Guys, we have no idea who has done this or why, so let's not get into it now, yeah? It's so fucking tragic, hope everyone pulls through. Thoughts with the family, can't imagine the hell they're going through right now.

Match Thread Stoke away 10th August 12:30 - Opening day!

Nah, both adults. Although, when I was having issues, he also tried to buy tickets and we swapped who tried when one failed. Thought maybe it's because we were logged in to our own accounts at the same time and the system thought we were trying to cheat it, but it didn't allow us to assign an...

Hmm. Guess the site just decided to randomly eat shit when I tried to buy, then. Weird as never have any issues.

You have any issues? Me and my brother were trying to buy tickets at 15:00, as he's just below 1200 points, and at first no tickets were available and then it took about eight tries getting an error message saying "basket timed out" until it finally worked.

    Manchester Airport Incident

Whilst there maybe more to come out, I think people were right to reserve judgement on the situation until more context was given. Unless more evidence comes to light, or videos are subsequently discredited, I think the so-called "victims" were very violent and the police were right to use...

    Israel - Palestinian Conflict

I would usually agree, but with Israel, it's only a very recent foreign policy, perhaps proving your point (although I think it's more to counter Iran) The hesitance probably a hangover of the issues that arisen during the Mandatory Palestine era.

Will bet mine too, my estate would consist of three rather mangy cows, a dachshund named Colin and a small hen in its late 40s

    Israel - Palestinian Conflict

Very much shifting, though. Whilst I have many qualms with the politics of the region outside of Israel, not helped by the West's constant interference, but I think the US will follow the UK soon when relations become much cooler than they are right now. Never felt right how closely aligned...
