    Worst strikers ever...

Not sure about where he ended up but he wasn't really an out and out striker, iirc. More of an attacking midfielder thus explaining the relatively low goal total.

    The worst midfield players ever...

Again David Rennie was quality. Who can forget his crucial role in the famous nine man draw against Wimbledon in c.1995? Didn't Rennie play against us in the 1987 Semi for Leeds?

    Worst strikers ever...

Wegerle was a class player and doesn't deserve to be in this list of clowns. Holdsworth was a decent player for Wimbledon but by the time he came to us he was a crock - similar to Mick Harford several years before. I don't like to include current players in lists like this but I don't...

I once met John Williams' missus who was a barmaid at one of my University's campus bars

The ones who couldn't hit a cow's backside with a banjo... Here's a few for starters... John Gayle (bambi on ice) Graham Barrett Onandi Lowe Sebastian Olszar Nii Lamptey Trevor Benjamin Lee Mills Jairo Martinez Gary Madine (although he does appear to be doing well at Sheffield Weds) Craig...

    The worst midfield players ever...

Lee Fowler (during the McAllister nadir) Gavin Strachan (even his old man didn't rate him) Dean Emerson Sandy Robertson Keith O'Neil (awful, just awful) Julian Darby (Phil Neal's poster boy) Michael McIndoe David Pipe (the racehorse trainer of the same name would have been better)

    Ben Turner Medical

It appears that we are now a feeder club for Cardiff:mad: Quite how Cardiff have so much money to spend given their chequered recent financial history is a mystery.

    Martin Wynch

Rob Gurney was/is a Coventry fan, I seem to remember he was originally from Bedworth and now lives in Kenilworth. It was Adam Dent of the CET who was the Wolves fan. Any idea what Gurney and Dent are doing nowadays? I really miss them especially when we have to suffer the likes of Martin Wynch...

Well done Andy and the lads

Well done on a great result today. Imagine how good Thorn would be if he was supported by the board. This is comfortably our best result of the season and can hopefully be used as a springboard for better results. SISU - please take note that if we don't sell the family silver and buy a striker...

    Club Statement

"The Board and the owner want every stakeholder of the club to be clear that significant funding continues to be made available by SISU to allow the Board to work towards improving all aspects of club life." How Tango Man can honestly say this with a straight face is astounding. What a tool.

    new loan player

We would be mad to sell Cranie, he is probably our best player which is why SISU will no doubt sell him for a cut-price fee.

    Time for a total boycott

If necessary administration would be preferable to another few years of this. Under SISU the club has no ambition and no future. SISU will continue to denude the club of any quality players and we will end up with a team of academy players who will struggle to be competitive in League 2. We have...

    Time for a total boycott

I like most committed Sky Blues fans love watching and supporting our team through thick and thin, and a total boycott of the club (i.e. not attending matches, not buying merchandise etc) goes against everything I believe in. However, these are truly desperate times and unless SISU leave asap...

    If the balloon goes up...

Well, we will shortly have a 32,000 capacity stadium we don't get any revenue from and don't own playing to 7/8,000 crowds in League One. The atmosphere will be like a morgue. Surely worth considering if the Butts could get up to a 10,000 capacity and whether we might be able to buy the stadium...

    If the balloon goes up...

and we end up going into admin and facing possible liquidation, what about leaving the Ricoh and trying to buy Cov Rugby Club's stadium at the Butts? It would probably be a viable stadium for a League 1 club which is what we will certainly be next year at this rate and at least owning a stadium...

    What would it take?

I'd only support a boycott if it were a last resort and a one off. However a one off boycott if things are still dire in September might be necessary for the greater good. I'd prefer the banner suggestion first though as I don't see why the players and AT should suffer.

    What would it take?

for SISU to admit they do not have the club's best interests at heart and never have done and to sell up? We cannot afford to let them suck out the remaining last vestiges of life in the club and see us collapse through the divisions. Obviously only legal solutions are welcomed.
