    Lester playing at the Ricoh

Did AFC Wimbledon fans boycott MK Dons at last season's Cup match?
  2. H

    Ricoh Arena Has New Tennants!!

Unsurprisingly the people who claimed not to give a damn whatever happened to the Ricoh/ACL if CCFC weren't there, now seem to care the most.

    Lester playing at the Ricoh

Good to see Leicester fans refusing to endorse the charade of a team playing a home game in another City miles away, by observing a total boycott of this fixture.

Clarke fee funds CCFC at Northampton for at least 3 more seasons

It seems the lower the wage bill becomes, the higher the legal bills become. I wonder at what point the annual legal bill becomes higher than the annual wage bill, maybe we are already there.

    Deal

Should help fund SISU ongoing legal bills to the summer at least.

    You've met Joy then.

If people want to protest against the Council, why don't they stand at the upcoming elections, on a ' give/sell the Ricoh to SISU ticket', and then we could see what % of the voters backed their stance. Even if is impracticable to raise a slate of candidates, then maybe the self proclaimed SISU...

Well as has been said before, both Bristol clubs with local council support , have been trying since the early 1990's for new stadiums, so good luck with that. Fisher has already admitted that 3 years minimum is now 4, for his fantasy new stadium.

    MichaelCCFC

That Tim Fisher does exactly what he said 6 months ago, nothing more, nothing less. We have moved on, plan A is the new stadium. Well get on with it then. Unless of course you don't believe our beloved owner.

    MichaelCCFC

Because whether you like it or not, or whether even if its fair or not, the majority of Coventry fans do overwhelmingly blame SISU. That inconvenient fact seems to be constantly overlooked.

    Miss Garlick

Having heard her on the radio this morning, she may as well have come on and said, blah blah blah for 2 minutes as it would have been about as illuminating as the mindless garbage she came out with. Apparently in her dialogue with fans, some like to sit behind the goal, whilst others like to sit...

    Labo telling porkies again???

Never mind the trivia of where the ground is going to be located, did we find out the really important news. A forum lasting nearly 2 hours and we are seemingly no nearer to what colour the boardroom drapes will be , what colour the seats will be, and will the team be running out to Mr Blue...

Is AFC / Phoenix a step closer ?

Well Tim Fisher the CEO of CCFC has confirmed it, mind you he has been known to be economical with the actualite.. Sandra Garlick is presently busily promoting a new stadium outside Coventry.
  14. H

    Hinckley AFC at the Ricoh?

Of course I'm sure you haven't forgotten that is exactly what Tim Fisher said many months ago, around the same time he was claiming that the location for the new stadium would be announced in 3 weeks time.
  15. H

Disheartening Sky Blue's Story On The Way..

I imagine a lot of people will be having those exact same thoughts. Another massive PR own goal by SISU, God knows who is advising them. It is though they have got a death wish. They have become so consumed with hatred towards the Council/ACL they seem to have taken leave of their senses. Even...

    Mark Labo Interview

Tim Fisher at the Shareholders meeting made it quite clear that SISU/Otium want total control of the Ricoh Arena. They want the freehold and he made it crystal clear he would expect that the Council get rid of ACL, and any other contracts that were ongoing. For the Council to sell the...

Significant Council announcement on Ricoh coming

Well according to Phil Upton?, who has seen the press release, just about yes. Although I expect it will be padded out a bit.

Significant Council announcement on Ricoh coming

Just been on CWR it's just a statement from Ann Lucas, that we (the Council) must move on, hardly worth the build up

CT: City turn down Wolves bid for Clarke; may be interested in player-plus-cash deal

Are you talking about the football club or the Council?

    Personally I don't blame him...

Quite agree. Whilst it is true that Leon has always led a nomadic existence, playing for a car crash of a club can't help persuade some players to commit medium/ long term. It can't be a great feeling to score a goal in a virtually empty home ground. At the start of the season fans and players...
