You are correct. He’s predominantly a defender but does very occasionally play as a CDM. I’ve only ever noticed him as a defender.

I totally agree. if you are 6th come February and you have money to invest it’s strange if you don’t. I assume it’s because we have missed out on our targets rather than lack of ambition.

I can’t agree with this. it is based on the assumption that none of our key players get injured or get tired / suspended. we don’t have cover for Tats or Wright…. Sheaf is a cut above our other CDM’s. We might get lucky on injuries but if we don’t we are not the same team. Bringing in cover...
