    Cet

Talk about stating the obvious. Do people still get paid at that paper anymore ? It's a pale shadow of its former glory.

Rumour: Hoffman and Elliot takeover negotiations

As far as we are aware sisu are not actively looking to sell , you must agree that is is highly unlikely that anyone with no connections to this city at all would contemplate buying it , especially with 10 years + of negative press. I'm not saying they should run it , but we certainly need them...

Rumour: Hoffman and Elliot takeover negotiations

Because the chances of anybody other than them , or persons known to them buying this club is virtually nil.

Rumour: Hoffman and Elliot takeover negotiations

I personally would have that pair back tomorrow compared with what we have now. They may make mistakes but they wouldn't rape the club financially .

Rumour: Hoffman and Elliot takeover negotiations

Was going to say myself , that had ccc been honest and upfront from the day it was built , wasps wouldn't be here either. This hasn't just been a SISU issue the last decade, it has been ( as Grendel says) or was ,a spectacular failed attempt to make money off somebody else's dream.

    Sunderland forum (again)

Same as you , it has only been the last few years that it has re- surfaced again , mostly from people who were not even born at the time. Looking back at it now , all JH did was inform our players that a point was enough , the fact that Bristol would be safe as well probably didn't cross his...

Rumour: Hoffman and Elliot takeover negotiations

But they are unethical ! Sisu are the root of our problems I certainly agree , but nobody will ever convince me that the wasps move was anything but sly and underhand. Do you think it would be ethical to parachute a franchise rugby league team into the city as well ? If that ( a big if )...

How do we rid ourselves of SISU?

Very true , Although we have people on here who are obviously clued up on accounting , they probably only have an overview. If they had the full set they could see the amount of " colourful accounting" which goes on. Not that I am saying anything illegal is happening, but it is almost certain...

How do we rid ourselves of SISU?

That idea was tried by Hoffman when he offered the £1. Sisu would have got money for subsequent promotions , but obviously didn't trust anyone else to run the club in the right way !!!!

    It needs to be said

It was deadline day , so any money would have disappeared into the dark murky waters of sisu accounts, and most certainly never to be seen again.

    Why won't SISU invest ?

Your right , there will never be a total boycott, but I will be amazed if we sell more than 2k for next season. (Under the current set up , that is)

    Why won't SISU invest ?

Sisu bought the club on the idea of making a huge profit over a year or 2. Since they realised football is not an easy way of making money, and they know fuck all about running a club, it's simply been an exercise in self preservation. It's become obvious for many years , they want us...

    Tomorrow

Monday for me , as each game passes the others will pick up the points required .I still think we'll win today but draw at Rochdale. I would much rather it that way , the thought of dropping at home to Wallsall is just too much for me. I am hopeful that we can still get off the bottom though (...

Four EFL clubs 'at risk of failure' according to study, is one CCFC?

Pretty obvious that one is us , but I should point out that it is 9 clubs fewer than a few years back. Next year it might be none at all or it might be 15 , it just shows the huge difference financially, between the top 2 leagues and the bottom 2.

    ricoh arena sponsorship

I seem to remember the last england tour to Argentina was online only. As much as they have improved , Argentina will never be box office.

Rumour: Hoffman and Elliot takeover negotiations

I tend to agree but , I stated earlier today there are one or 2 on the Facebook page who are still sticking by the rumour. If they were hidden by user names and faceless ( like the majority on here) i would say more than likely it was all Bollocks , but their not. Why would they have their names...

Rumour: Hoffman and Elliot takeover negotiations

A decent insight maybe , but without the secret diaries of B Richardson, Paul Fletcher and the ccc members of the time (who passed the deal by one vote) , without the truth behind just how a London rugby team parachuted in and took control of a city asset , without the likes of Lucas and Mutton...

Rumour: Hoffman and Elliot takeover negotiations

A point that I have stated before. It had little to do with anything except safeguarding the monies owed to board members. Had the debt been to anybody else , they would have put us into admin without a second thought.

Rumour: Hoffman and Elliot takeover negotiations

With hindsight though , I doubt we would be where we are had the clock stopped ticking.

Rumour: Hoffman and Elliot takeover negotiations

But Don, that's the point , he doesn't know any more than us. I would say that a few people on social media are more in the know ( so to speak)than he is. Tbf though , the CET has been utter tosh for many years. If it completely dissappeared tomorrow I doubt many would miss it.
