    Play-offs

Us having some skin in the game totally nagates my usual tenancy to root for the underdog/outsider. Kind of like what Brentford are doing but I just want Bournemouth gone.

    Liam Walsh

Its not some mad gamble though is it, the man won player of the season with us a year ago, every single fan would have taken him last summer. He is now a free agent. What is there to get your head round?

    Liam Walsh

Yeah I feel like as long as we don't take the piss wage wise it's an easy sell. Especially him coming off the back of a bad injury. He will be loved by fans and teammates, will definitely get minutes and he can use us to further his career.

A rotatable midfield of Walsh, Hamer, James, Kelly, O'Hare, Jones and Sheaf is dream stuff

    Liam Walsh

People questioning Walsh being up to championship standard need to get a grip. I know it's not 'proven' but he was player of the season the year we went up, he was ahead of players like O'hare who just won our current player of the seaon. If he stays fit he would be an excellent signing who...

Either really young or total mentalists! I remember going a bit OTT in my praise of players. Telling people Huckerby should go to Euro2000, saying McSheff was the answer to England's leftside problems that sort of thing. I appreciate what he has done at the club but all round him moving on...

    21/22 Summer transfer mega-thread

What happened to Frankie Fieldings career? Looked set for good things when playing for England U21. Did well in championship loans. Just been released by Millwall 31 is still young for a keeper

    21/22 season expectations

I'm just hoping for a kinder spread of fixtures next season. The weighting of big top their teams all one after another was rough. Especially in October. I hated coming on here round those runs. So many deluded doom and gloom merchants it was grim We will be fine next year if we replace...

    Derby Sheffield Wed Match Thread

Hmm as much as I dislike Derby I'd say it's more likely they will continue to be a basket case than Wednesday. Could be a good thing them staying up

On the plus side Derby's mad owners might stick with tactical genius Rooney for another season

Dull AF this match. Really hope Derby go down, horribly run club. As much as it would be a shame if Wednesday do go I think they have more potential to turn things around and be more of a threat in the championship than Rovrum. Need a nice buffer of dross in the Champ next year to nick points off

I'm fine with shiperz staying as a back up, he is still young enough to improve. Up to him if he wants regular football really as he will be a squad player here
