Fucking hell, is that the best they can come up with. How many of the present cabinet served under Johnson or Truss.

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

Complete guess on my part but I would imagine the first choice will be to flip the Blackburn, Wigan and QPR games to away games if at all possible.

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

Lets for a minute assume that when we signed that 10 year lease and announced the UoW stadium plan that the club was serious. Imagine that work started immediately, it wouldn't be open now so how would we be any better off? Its a complete red herring in this situation. We have a 10 year lease...

If, as is being suggested by some, there is no interest in ACL and it is to be liquidated the lease will revert to the council won't it? So unless they're planning to close the place permanently / knock it down then either they're going to continue to run it themselves or attempt to sell the...

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

As they aren't in admin shouldn't they be running as normal? Bit of a pisstake to turn round and say your event isn't going ahead unless you give us more money. Have they done the same to other events there this weekend, the casino, hotel etc?

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

A points deduction would be very harsh. This is completely out of our control. Sure there would come a point where the EFL are pushed too far but the WC break might come at a convenient time for us. Gives a few weeks to sort things out, even if its the worst case scenario of having to play games...

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

What are the options on Monday. Presumably a further NOI is out of the equation so are we looking at a simple choice between admin & ACL continuing to operating while a buyer is found or immediate liquidation? If its liquidation doesn't that then revert everything back to the council who would...

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

Hopefully its just a case of paying for stewards etc, costs that would normally be passed on to us, and not much more on top of that. We simply don't have the money, or the owners, to cover keep making extra payments to play games.

Interesting choice to use Gary Glitter as the soundtrack.

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

Sensible approach from the club in the circumstances. If something does happen and they hadn't looked into other options I'm sure there wouldn't be plenty of people on here ready to lay into them for not being prepared. Of course we all know the owners won't fund all this extra expenditure so...

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

Looking at the events happening next week there' s no signs of any concern or arrangements being made to move or postpone. There's exhibitors posting on social media that they're ready for events there at the start of next week. Obviously there's lots of unknowns but I don't think assuming the...

multiple sources could just be the two posts online we already knew about. My neighbours runs a company that provides event services up there and as far as they are concerned everything is going ahead as usual.

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

It would make no sense for Wasps to keep insisting there was no problem if they knew it was fucked and the CWG were paying to fix it. All it would have needed would have been a statement saying there was more damage than expected and the CWG are paying for the work required to bring it up to...

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

What legal issues could the CWG have possibly had? They hired a venue, used the venue, returned the venue. Its not their responsibility to ensure the pitch is fit for professional football after their use. That's the reason other venues pulled out.

Seems that after the government put the block on King Charles attending the COP27 summit Sunak has now pulled out. Good to see the new government taking climate change seriously.

Ricoh got it essentially for free because Wasps couldn't afford to take the signs down. Yet another thing that was denied at the time of course. I suspect that as with the Ericsson and Vodafone deals the CBS have actually paid very little.

You don't really need the freehold if there's a 250 year lease available. Can anyone see the CBS still being here in 250 years. Would be well past the end of its expected life.

IMO if SISU were to buy the stadium there's no way they're running it themselves. They will contract in someone to run the complex, they previously had talks with AEG which reached the point that AEG gave a presentation to the council. This is something the NEC Group do at other venues so I'd...

Wonder if Ashley and Seppella's paths have ever crossed before. Unlikley but they both deal in buying up distressed businesses so you never know.
