The only thing about this, and in the interest of fairness and impartiality, is that it focuses on the demands of Wasps and our statement focuses on all points. As much as we get annoyed when some statements only focus on the club or SISU, I hope that this headline doesn't detract from the fact...

Sorry, that was the season I was referring to as well but overlooked that fact that Ward signed in June 06. I thought it was for the 05-06 season, not at the end of it.

One might argue that we were stable (relatively) as a club in as much as we were playing at 'home', it was pre-SISU and Adams had a net spend of £1m that season, bringing in Elliott Ward from WHU. It was also our first season at the Ricoh...proper 'good vibe' feelings around the club.

I don't think it's relevant whether Robins has had more backing than other managers we've had to be honest. Even if he has (and I can see arguments both sides), you still need to be good at using the money effectively. We've had managers who've had access to money previously and not done well...
