That offside goal from Godden was a lovely finish tbf.

I find it really hard to make predictions having not really give a toss about the Championship for a decade, so I don't know much about a lot of players in the opposition teams other than the bigger 'names'. So for this one I'll assume they're all shit and go 2-0 to us.

    Sheaf

I think we forget how young our team is sometimes. We've got the second youngest squad in the whole division, and that's boosted by McFadz being 33. We're getting fitness, growing into the expectations of the division, and have players still near the start of their careers who you'd have to hope...

    Match Thread Swansea Match Thread

Swansea are one of those teams that have the occasional slip up against teams they should theoretically beat, so on that basis I'm going for an undeserved 1-1.

Had a good nights sleep ?

After a good night's sleep, my take is that we haven't been embarrassed (scoreline wise) yet despite playing 3 teams in the top half of the table, 2 of whom will are likely to be at the summit come the end of the season. These games are the learning period, and I can only see us growing as time...

The pessimist in me says we'll be bossed for 90 minutes. The optimist says that with Rose back, we might be able to keep a clean sheet.

    6 championship clubs need bailout

This probably isn't the thread for it, but I think, as much as people have frankly detested SISUs actions at times, their decision to make us relatively self-sustaining has been justified several times over during the past few months.

The guy actually said he was going to support Leeds. Got to have been a wind up.

Since relegation from the Premiership ...

John Hartson and Lee Carsley (first time round) for me.

    Little bits of history.

Was this the Talbot shirt, where the T was sort of 'hidden' (bad choice of words, but don't know how else to put it right now) as part of the kit design?

    Andy Holt

Thanks, I wasn't aware of that. I assumed there would be some consistency across the EFL, or at a minimum across L1 and L2. Every day is a school day.

    Andy Holt

Yeah, my post was more of a generic 'this is how iFollow works for clubs' rather than a comment on whether it's the right way or not. I wasn't aware of the methodology behind it, so found it quite interesting - I naively assumed that we'd get 100% of iFollow sales from our website / fans (minus...

    Statto

As a big fan of football statistics, I just wondered what go-to sites people use. There's sites like whoscored and transfrmarket and Infogol, but are there any others that people would recommend?

    Sam mccallum

At least Giles and McCallum both know how we play. It's the things like player movement that new recruits take time to learn, and Sam will already know most of that side of things. It's a long season, with games packed in, so having a decent squad was always going to be a must. I have to say...

I'm a big Shipley fan, but he's no Liam Kelly replacement in the middle. He's doing an okay job today slightly out of position.
