I'd rather it took this long as it means we are trying to get the best deal possible for the club

i agree mate and I did mean my last paragraph more for the way it's been handled by the local media, the trust etc which is where people get their information from, rather than people on here trying to deliberately push an agenda.... I definitely could have put it better, I blame the heat :)

I honestly don't, I don't think wasps ever wanted us there during those negotiations and always planned to have the indemnity clause, the EU complaint was just a good out for them and I'm sure they would have found another public reason to leak to Gilbert/the telegraph (probably around possible...

I'd imagine because it's not factually correct, let's leave that for the telegraph, cwr and the trust and keep this board for facts :)

And to be pedantic the other way ;) the issue at the moment is that sisu have asked the EU to look into if it was state aid, if the EU agree then it most definitely becomes the above and is a legal matter but at the moment it's only a complaint so it isn't technically legal action The reason...

    Conor Chaplin

Did you not watch the highlights of the season? That "donkey" scored some vital goals for us and has the potential to be a good player, just wish people would get off his back... Robins obviously sees something in him to offer him a new contract

At least it makes you better than the telegraph or cwr :)

Well its actually factual unlike your previous statement ;)

I think you have hit the nail on the head there mate. Wasps have had it so easy with the stadium (including sisu making it easy by going to Northampton) that they thought we would just roll over and accept the indemnity clause because we had to be at the stadium. Hopefully now time has passed...

    Realistic signings

Wrong thread, this is called realistic signings ;) We could never afford either of their wages

For the last time, there are no legals on the table to drop. The EU complaint is just that, a complaint and if the EU decide it warrants legal action then it will be against the council and separate to wasps so saying drop the legals means nothing as there is fuck all to drop. That line is...

    Ricoh - Gut Feeling

And this is where we need the local media to press wasps on the fact that the legals (that don't actually exist but I'll humour them) can't be dropped as it's a complaint... The telegraph and cwr have been such an utter disgrace in this whole situation they should hang their heads in shame...

    Ricoh - Gut Feeling

I'd be shocked if we aren't back there, it just makes so much sense for all parties involved. What we have to make sure of (and personally I have every faith in Dave boddy and his team doing this) is that the deal is beneficial to us as a club for however long we are there. We need a cut of...

    Ricoh Return Stumbling Block

No idea :( with the Brexit farce and then covid, things must be back logged... But it's a mute point as it's not legal action against wasps so as per wasps terms it shouldn't be an issue but as always they changed the goal posts. It's the major ball ache I have with all of this, wasps key people...

    Ricoh Return Stumbling Block

That's not legal action mate, if the EU deem that there is an issue then it's turns into legal action against the council only nothing against wasps which was the agreement that we made with them so there is no "legal action" to drop

    Ricoh Return Stumbling Block

What court case? There is no ongoing legal action at the moment

Fans back in grounds in September

135 deaths were reported yesterday not died yesterday, and again all with the virus in the system, not of the virus.... But don't let facts get in the way of trying to prove a point ;) The whole thing is thankfully slowing down and properly managed we should hopefully not see a second spike in...
