I have to say, and with the caveat it was lower league opposition, but although I didn’t think so after the first five or ten I thought Kelly was very dependable tonight - particularly alongside Torpplayed it simple and I’m not sure he played a bad pass / gave the ball away for the vast majority...

he’s looking poor against national league opposition, so fair to assume he wouldn’t set that league alight based on his performance - to be fair to the lad however he is playing out of position I think? both he and Kelly have been below the standard of the rest of the team tonight in my eyes

we probably still need A good first choice keeper who can command the box and catch the ball; At least one more centre half A LB (or ideally two) and RB cover for MVE At least one RW and one LW At least two central midfielders, and at least one attacking midfielder Two goal scoring centre...

…and also I didn’t realise until I watched that clip, but he’s quite clearly moving his legs after the injury which to me would suggest it won’t be serious pelvic or spinal… 🤞🏼

Playing devil’s advocate, he wasn’t actually looking at Tats, and when he realised Tats was up and winning the ball I think he pulled out of the challenge rather than jumping into him - still not great but I’m not sure it’s malicious, and I can see why it could be called either way

couple of good points, but have to laugh at a couple too… Sheaf off? seriously? Also we have a very good LWB - JDS. He doesn’t fit the current system because he’s not a LB in a back four, which is a shame

Simms put himself about very well and I thought was one of, if not our best player - he faded a bit when the formation changed, it seemed to make him less effective - he certainly didn’t hide though

I’d never shout a player down, but he is too slow and in a back 4 a liability respectfully I disagree with you, we don’t miss him

Sorry, can people please stop calling for Fadz, and even Kelly, they both had a great term with us but both are a step behind where we need to be now - and if you don’t see that then you need to give your head a wobble…. Kelly might be our only option soon in midfield, but he’s not good enough...
