Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Well, kind of. It works on innovation as people will try new products or processes as they believe they can get rich. However, capitalism also means that those already established will have the desire and means to try and kibosh any competition. Hence why we're still beholden to fossil fuels...

I've now got images of Simms and Wright coming back with large face tattoos.

Trump is my favourite comedian of the year already

It's been clear for a long time he's intellectually challenged, but that doesn't matter if your dad has billions.

Of course the focus has to be on signings such as that, but at the same time it's adding a lot of risk because you don't know if those players will be successful at this level. They might be cheaper but if you have just one or two bad years where they don't work out and you've lost that ability...

Trump is my favourite comedian of the year already

I wouldn't guarantee it. I still think Trump has a decent chance at winning, despite these convictions, so I wouldn't suggest that's learned much. As for here, assuming Labour win it'll be amazing how quick the narrative of Tories being competent will return. It's almost ingrained somehow.

I agree entirely about the Supreme Court. Technically, one person could choose the entire Supreme Court so how is that independent and providing checks and balances?

Will be interesting to see how Republicans respond. Will they back their countries judicial system or a individual who clearly only has his own interests at heart. If the majority back Trump they're effectively declaring war on their country as well as turning it into an international joke.

I agree the vast majority of their attention should be based on Britain, but I don't think I'd want someone who completely ignored things overseas.

    Season tickets for 2024/2025 season

Would be madness if true. Club have been fed up of people using concessionary tickets illegally but someone tries to do the right thing and is denied. No wonder people don't bother. Just tell the sister to have heavy make-up, a sky blue rinse, wear a cardie and a headscarf and walk with a...

If you scale up private practice to the size and scope of the NHS it would have WAY more non-clinical staff.

Probably not. But it's a simple change to the laws that would even out the competition to a fairer extent. Matter of no will to do it rather than it being a hard thing to do.

Well that kind of proves my point. Indeed, the UK economy as a whole is smaller than in 2008. Yet according to the year on year statistics 13 of those years are growth years. Misleading, no? You need more indicators to get a fuller picture.

Going back to the Great Depression it's been shown that during recessions it's spending that makes the biggest difference. The building of 30Rock in NY made a significant difference locally by providing jobs and the knock-on effect that had,

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Well that's bollocks. Why wouldn't pubic sector have impetus to cut costs and drive efficiencies? They do that and the money they spend goes further. Thus they can either reduce taxes and be popular or have money to spend on improving other services and be more popular. Why, for example...

Or to stop them hoarding players restrict all teams to 40 pro-contracted players, regardless of age, nationality or which academy they came through. Good youngsters at top academies but won't play for that team for a fair few years - instead of being loaned out in perpetuity for years they get...

    Summer transfer window 2024

I think as a back-up formation it might. Arguably more likely than a 5ATB. We've got players to fit that formation as it stands, Sheaf, Eccles or Torp in the centre, Saka and EMC as wingers and Wright and Simms up front. Could even argue Tavares could be a wildcard playing in a two up front...
