I’m not wishing him good riddance. I’m wishing him well, and would applaud him if he appeared at the CBS for an opposing team. I just think those comments were unnecessary and inappropriate

Scandinavians are by nature though very unemotional when displaying their feelings.

Changing style of play is preferable anyway. Playing the same way all the time just gives other teams a better chance of working out your weaknesses. Dowie, Boothroyd, Mowbray, all got us into early play off positions, only to throw it away. The reason being their inability to change style and...

Makes me laugh when players say things like “I could’ve left in January” Eh no you couldn’t mate, not without the club’s agreement

I wish him well wherever he goes. Disappointed with those comments though. I thought he was a better man than that.

Am I being naive in thinking Callum will feel some loyalty is owed after paying his salary for a year despite him being injured?

You wouldn’t buy a PL season ticket in the FZ though would you? It costs the same no matter where you sit, so might as well get a decent seat on the halfway line rather than shoved up into the corner

Agree, a realistic aim on these numbers is to have the lowest gate of the season to be around 20k

Didn’t they have a fanzone in the hall before one of the games this year? As for numbers, it shouldn’t be that much of a surprise after the good season we’ve had. 1985-86 11.5k average 1987-88 17.5k average A winning team can increase numbers very quickly

I did the same, I was expecting a fee but not that much. Went on an MBNA Credit card that I already have, they had an offer on of 0% interest cash transfer, only had to pay a £16 fee.

Clubs will pay the lowest amount they think they can get away with. Hopefully Doug plays hardball

    Season Tickets!!!

The 6 new clubs will all bring decent numbers. Plymouth travel well despite the distances. I’m struggling to think which teams brought less than 1k this year. Wigan, Reading, maybe Blackburn?

A lot of people will be waiting for payday at the end of the month. If, and it’s a big if at this stage, we can get everyone to renew, we’ll be looking at 19k as the absolute lowest gate next year. We should average around 23k. This is how you grow a football club

    Season Tickets!!!

9k sold by the first proper day of sales is good going. Wasn’t that about the total in the 21-22 season by August?

And the slimy agent will pocket £1m for pretty much nothing. I’m reminded of Brian Clough. “In the 70s the only agent was 007, and he only shagged women, not entire football clubs” 😂
