Can anyone blame JFH for turning it down? The budget would probably have been the least important issue in talks, the future and uncertainty around the academy and stadium would be much more of a major stumbling block in attracting a new manager than the budget.

Looking back I worded it badly, just making the observation that although they didn't win as many matches as they would have liked to they were also pretty hard to beat and enough evidence to argue that they were a working progress and building foundations.
