We’ve slipped a bit. Guess it was the low following to Sunderland

Match Thread Coventry City - Swansea City Match Thread - Friday 29th Dec

Christ I knew it was bad but I didn’t realise that bad. We haven’t beat them since 1981?

    Empty seats

They really picked up in the second half of last season. This time last year the average was only about 19k

    Sky Sports foreseeing the future

Maybe I’m just being greedy and wanting a season where we just run away with the title! We were robbed of it in 2020 with Covid and St Andrews. We never really got to see it

    Boxing Day

Almost gone now. Think the atmosphere will be electric for this with the big crowd and everyone having a few prematch Christmas sherries!

    Tactics For Leeds

Robins doesn’t always get it right, but when he does he gets it spot on. I remember at the end of the play off semi final the commentators referring to his tactics as a “masterclass of knockout football”

    Tactics For Leeds

Were the same as where we were this time last year, in a much more competitive division

    Sky Sports foreseeing the future

I still think we'll fall just short this year. The league is too tough. Next season we'll tear it apart

    Boxing Day

Big home crowd for Swansea, but they won't bring many. Next three games should push the average over 25k, which if we maintain until the end of the season will be the highest for 52 years

    Super league nonsense

The big clubs will be falling over themselves to join it, and will then moan that they have too many fixtures to play

I think this will be slightly lower than the Birmingham game. Wednesday have 500 tickets less than Brum did and the balcony will probably still have quite a few empty seats due to the poor take up of boxes. I’m guessing 29.5k Still good though. As fans we can only buy what is offered to us

Agree, but what might be the saving grace is that its Sheff Wed, who we have no beef with. I don't see it being a particularly hostile atmosphere

Leicester game will almost certainly sell out as well

If they keep holding back blocks like this it will affect ticket sales. People who want to get in block 13 will hold off buying a ticket in future as they’ll wait for it to be opened. They should’ve just given Sheffield Wednesday the remaining 500 or so in the away end now.
