Fleck, Hines, Nouble and Reda all doubts for Saturday

If we were in Bristol's position, top of the league, taking a load of support to a team on a bad run with lots of injuries, you know full well we would lose. That's why I'm confident of a home win.

How long are you willing to give pressley

If when we have a fully fit and available first 11 we carry on as poorly as we have of late, then by Christmas the crowds will be very low, they will be getting booed off every week, and he'll have to go. I hang on to the hope that we can get some wins by Christmas, SISU will give him some money...

    Bob Ainsworth's view

Or, they could carry on playing at the Ricoh after agreeing a long rent deal, thus ensuring higher crowds than they would in Birmingham or London, and save themselves requiring any land and building money. Just an idea though.

    Bob Ainsworth's view

I think this was based around Lucas saying the first time she met with Wasps was in July as that was when it was decided they were serious bidders. I would imagine the talks were going on well before then.

Except it shows that I was right to ask (wasn't demanding though).

That's a PWKH quote in respect of looking for sponsors of the stadium if Ricoh pulled out, not the sale of ACL.

Have you got the full quote?

    Bob Ainsworth's view

Presumably you would agree that Wasps will do what's best for Wasps.

    Bob Ainsworth's view

It was the deal before, and its the only sensible thing to do when dealing with a 50/50 shareholding. Why would Wasps leave themselves open to the possibility of having to work, and agree all deals, with anyone else?

    Bob Ainsworth's view

The other shareholder will be able to block it, and they would.

    Bob Ainsworth's view

I think the share option died when CCFC Ltd did, but the shares were available to buy without the need for the option, Wasps have proved that. Higgs were prepared to sell before, the Council through Lucas said they wanted to hear from anyone that had a proper offer. The problem is that SISU...

    Bob Ainsworth's view

Even if CCFC Ltd was resurrected, which would appear to be a very expensive, and unlikely thing to do, do you really think the owner of the other 50% would not veto the deal. Wasps want 100%, they wouldn't have gone this far if they thought there was a chance they wouldn't get it.

    Bob Ainsworth's view

Stu - are you suggesting the share option has gone as a result of the Wasps deal, I don't see anything has changed with the option, it was going to be as difficult to use as soon as CCFC Ltd went into liquidation.

    Are People really Bleating?

It is hard to keep up with who is being sarcastic about holding a view, and who actually is stating their real view. We need some clarity, maybe if everyone could just go back to writing what they really think it would help out a lot.

Coventry United - is it time to get behind them?

I've seen bits of a few games they have played at the Alan Higgs Centre, they have some decent players, and are 2nd in the league after their promotion last year. Worth a visit if you're not watching CCFC, Cov, Wasps, Sphinx, MK Dons, etc etc

    Ched Evans

The other player who was there, and acted in the same way that Evans did, was acquitted. You would think they were either both guilty or both innocent. It's a difficult one to answer, but on balance I wouldn't be outraged (todays SBT phrase) if he played for us. http://www.chedevans.com/

Rico h Arena Move Will Break Partnerships

Tesco will be fine without me, but they still spend money on trying to attract me. *obviously Tesco are having some bad press at the moment, but you get the idea.

Rico h Arena Move Will Break Partnerships

They are now in the business of attracting tenants. They will be financially better off with ccfc there, ccfc will be better off there if comparing to funding a new stadium. I guess that's why the club are already wanting to extend the rental agreement. If you were in charge you'd have the...

    2.7 million wage budget

It wouldn't be the first time the club, and to be fair not just ours, issues a statement they know will be taken one way, but the reality may be the exact words.
