Just thinking the same. 12 months on, same position re midfield being short. Genuinely can’t believe it if we don’t at least get CDM. what’s bizzare is we must know we need it - Kelly gone - looked at Browne, flipped stamenic now nothing……..

We can pick holes with Thomas and Kitching - a proper CDM would really help them and binks/lati, would really transform our team.

Thomas has shown his ability - wolves and Utd games outstanding. his issue’s are concentration and consistency- something you expect from younger players. wont do him harm to come out team. Kitching is the one with issues, his turning circle is a mobile as a dead bird. He needs to get...

Totally agree - it's school holidays, lean into that. The shop sales will increase, F&B etc etc. Kids for £1 great shout for this, then make it £20 adults if need be to offset. We have just played them, enthusiasm will be low in cup comp that historically struggles for attendance in early rounds.

Don’t understand people getting themselves worked up whether we sell out or not? If you’ve got a ticket why concern yourself what others do and get worked up about it. So many reasons people may not make a trip - first one being cost.

Totally agree. Thats why we are so so close - a quality midfielder who’s dynamic /screens back 4 along side sheaf and then experience at back we could do it. big if, we need these additions. Come on Doug!!

They can pick holes wherever, fact is they were lucky to still be in touching distance, we had so many chances, if we scored 5/6 wouldn’t have been unfair.

Put an experienced centre half, sheaf and dynamic midfielder in and that team genuinely could be what it wants - chances and goals galore. please Doug - we are so close.

Hes late 20s now - in his prime. No one is doubting the ability, thats premier league level. But it's the consisant application of that and thats why he's only playing at this level. Think both parties have run their course. And the money he's asking for in new contract is just not worth it (imo)
