The Edge: What do we think?

At the start he looked dodgy, especially with the ball. Seems to be a whole different player now - looked assured on the ball and isn't afraid to bring it forward and start attacks off.

    Colchester Goals

You beaut. Just done this myself, full videos for all FL Clubs and got to see the goals Thank you :D

    computer tablets

Well I have a Galaxy SIII and personally I struggle to find fault with it! So I think the Galaxy Tab II is similar to that. Not had the Nexus to play around with though - but I'd go with Samsung

    Barton...

That's certainly how Barton's said he wants to play - infront of those 2 holding mids/behind the striker. Played a part in the goal last night clearly. Always said he has talent, and matched the 4-2-3-1 formation we currently use with him/Moussa

    Clarke's tweeting .... Again

I'm not a big fan of Hussey as a player but if I got half the abuse he did, I wouldn't think much of us either. That said, ship him out and put the money towards big Dave!

    Portsmouth on Saturday

Any other season I'd go into it expecting to slip up. Bit more hopeful this time round.

If we were to be promoted

Bit early to be using that word, but SISU get an extra £3-4m in the kitty. You'd hope some of that could be used to strengthen. Still think some of our owned players have a lot to offer too - Fleck, Barton and Moussa esp. (assuming he signs long term). Oh and Murphy has looked outstanding this...

    Form since the 5 defeats......

I think some of the issue was throwing leads away; seem to remember Fisher alluding to it. Results like today and Crawley show it is being turned around and you can't argue the performances are improving under Robins? P.s just added to the done-death debate... oops.

    Call to arms

My thoughts exactly - no coincidence are away form is so good atm, our away support is usually fantastic. We need that support at home (and preferably not boo'ing players but I digress)

20 points from last 11 league games...

Form has improved. We were at one point. Very chuffed tonight, though sadly couldn't go.

    Pointless Football Rules

Yup bring back the basic off-side - if you have any player offside and in front of the ball when it's played then offside.

Remember the days when we could barely win away from home?

Fair enough the sweets and booze comment, but i swear I remember Ball mentioning the cancelling sessions in an interview shortly after Robins was appointed? Happy to put my hands up if I'm wrong

Remember the days when we could barely win away from home?

Remember when we used to cancel training rather than fine those who didn't turn up? Remember when our manager's office was filled with booze, crisps and sweets?

    5-0 Win!

We were clinical and made use of the space their awful back 4 gave us. Edj didn't lose a header and most of the players breezed past their markers second half. So I think a lot of sour grapes but we were poor-ish first half

    I'm probably the least surprised.

It's a long season, why shouldn't we aim for top 6? Not saying I expect it but it should still be our aim.

    Blair Adams?

Good defender and offers support in attack too. Had a very good game imo

    carl baker

Maybe a bit over the top, but always puts in a shift and was outstanding today. I like him as a player but seems like a sound bloke too.

Colchester was 5-1. Very happy trip home now :D

    I don't think they're meant to tbf

James Bailey has the Yellow Shirt

My understanding was it was for everything - training, match performance. In the interview Carsley even joked it was if you dropped your dinner in the canteen. As for Bailey, I've seen nothing from him that impresses me - doesn't tackle, loses the ball easily, never sticks to his marker and...
