Yep, better centrally but hasn't let the team down when playing as a wide midfielder (not winger) in a narrow formation, so yes he won't get as many crosses in. However, to say he's got no skill? Come on that's harsh m8, he's got good vision for a pass and an eye for goal too.

I disagree and believe Shipley is 'fine' if a left sided player eg. Jobello gets injured and he has to cover. Regarding promotion, I'm happy to get into play-offs as it's progress and reckon Shipley has a part to play in that.
