Yes, bizarre from someone like Sheaf who can clearly ping a ball with fantastic accuracy. Just loses his composure when the goal is in sight. Josh showed yesterday that you don't need to belt the leather off the ball.

Always felt that both Sheaf and Eccles should be capable of scoring a lot more goals. Josh is starting to do it now (credit to Lampard I imagine) but I'm not sure that Ben ever will. Has to be a mental thing.

Not been following this thread, but just noticed that the difference between 4th and 17th in this league is only two wins. Millwall in 4th on 8 wins, 4 draws, 5 defeats. WBA in 17th on 6, 4, 7.

You're right, it's very daft but strangely enough, tbh there are only two ludicrous choices there. Most of the rest could be contemplated in an unforseen emergency (seeing out time, all subs used ...) because we've got a lot of good footballers. And three of them might even genuinely work.

Why does the "extended" highlights always seem to be pretty much the short highlights but with everything repeated multiple times? It's a missed opportunity to show more of the match.

Lots of people made comments like this at the time, but he always looked good to me. Very unlucky not to have a few goals and assists in those early days. Never any allowances made for players to settle in. To say he didn't look arsed is astonishing 🤷‍♂️
