    Mum was a Yorkshire lass Dad from Coventry Dad took Mum back to Yorkshire for my birth (so I could play cricket for them- so he said) Nearest team to my place of birth was Burnley, Still the only other team I look out for - well after RB Salzburg

    No official games during 1944 but my first match was 9 days after my 3rd birthday on 19 April 1947 and we beat Bury 3 - 1 at home. Got hooked and have never lost my love for CCFC despite what we have been through.

    started in 54 when it opened. First house was Berkeley and jack Knight was housemaster, in 3rd yr went to Mowbray and Blob Davies was housemaster. head was Tllley and dep head was Cooke. Remember "Vic" Buckingham and Alan Simpson as football coaches, haven't a clue what they taught though...
