    The low down on ARVO

Yes - or at least most of it. Fortunately that didn't happen - don't you just hate when people don't pay their debts? No. A new owner would have to take over to reduce than banks loss. Someone like Sisu or Hoffman/Elliot? Or Sisu and Hoffman/Elliot?

Have We Been Closed Down Then?

Or maybe they agreed there is no bill to pay?

Have We Been Closed Down Then?

The article says Pressley and the club mad an agreement. Nothing about the content - or the amount.

    The low down on ARVO

There's plenty to worry about. As long as the club is dependent on somebody to bank roll it we may worry. Be it investors or a bank - there's always the risk they want their money back at some point.

    The low down on ARVO

Maybe it's supposed to be a 'target list' for a mail campaign with the purpose of having the investors retract their investments?

    The low down on ARVO

It simply means that 'somebody' owns the club. Those 'somebody' are owned by 'somebody else'. At the end of the day there's not really anything new. It's a piece written to scare us. It will work on those already scared. All the numbers have previously been dissected a thousand times.

Time to turn around the home form

Don't expect an easy win against Colchester. We can't seem to buy a win at the Ricoh and Colchester have found new life with 3 win and a draw in their last 4. If we can get a draw that would mean they have one less game to overtake us. Oldham next have nothing to play for - but we still need to...

    Rugby: Would you go?

Yes, yes ... but are there any decent pubs?

Coventry City FC hold stadium talks with Rugby Borough Council

Why would they? The club is back - I can't see any reason why FL would be even remotely interested never mind demanding progress.

    When will Sisu go?

No, I am not American. But I am a member of LRC (British Dyslexia Association).

    When will Sisu go?

From the accounts: During the current period, additional funding of £3.279.293 in the form of loans and £3.295.000 in th form of shares has been received from minority shareholders. During the year 500.000 ordinary non-voting shares were issued which were subsequently converted to 'A'...

    When will Sisu go?

I am not sure you're proving anything there. So what is 'fair value' of the club? Is it nil? £1m? £8m? One way of valuation is to multiply the number of shares with the latest share issue price and then add the all-time financial results. There are 64.2m shares at £1 in the club. I have no idea...

    When will Sisu go?

You think the club is all they manage?

    When will Sisu go?

Sisu is a hedge fund - they get paid by investors a percentage of the assets they manage. As long as the asset value of the club is not zero, they make money. Obviously a value of zero would only happen if the club was eliminated (which won't happen). So yes - the club can lose money which it...

    When will Sisu go?

Who 'they'? Sisu? Their income is not dependent on ticket sales. They don't own the club, they manage it for the investors (ARVO). The club is dependent on ticket sales - a decline in income is reflected on the pitch.

    When will Sisu go?

No, that's not my point. Valuation is not exact science and there's no law demanding the write down of loans that are fully serviced and not defaulted. The point I try to make is that the whole idea of sisu losing money is not true. In fact they make money. The club is close to cash flow...

    When will Sisu go?

    Why is it dishonest?

    When will Sisu go?

Maybe you missed the small detail of where ARVO have their registered address - the Cayman Islands. To me that indicate a different accounting ethic. I don't think the £8m loan or the £3m accrued interest has been written down. Anyway, the loans are not defaulted - are they? So they don't need...

    When will Sisu go?

Are they? Losing money hand over fist? How can you be so sure? They don't really own the club - it's not there own investments. They 'manage' the investors money - it's not their own. As a hedge fund they will take a percentage of the 'assets' they manage.
