Work rates a lot higher in the premier. Players move more off the ball then they do in lower leagues, generally exerting themselves continually. Wud be interesting to see, on average, how far a premier footballer runs and how far a conference player runs in a match. Ez

Well Wat can I say living dwn south and havin little money, I finally scratched the pennies together for me and my dad to visit the ricoh. I know a local lad who moved from one club to another for £250, as no contracts were involved nothing could be done. So I reckon ur rite dutchman, there's always under the table deals being done. Still for the majority of footballers jimmy hill saved their asses!

Just didn't cut it, maybe if we got him a bit early in his career it would of been better. I feel average players in most cases, specially players who rely on speed and acceleration peek at 26, its only players of carsleys calibre that make it so long at such a high level.
