Perhaps we're over analysing - perhaps this is just what they do?

Trinity Mirror and CT also told to Shut Up

Even Linnell was keen to "move on from his contribution".....

    FA cup

It almost certainly would - but with lots of local (i.e. Northampton based) Chelsea or Utd fans buying tickets.

Trinity Mirror and CT also told to Shut Up

Generally I'd agree and I'm not suggesting that the time is ripe for "armed insurrection", but I think that the "both sides are equally to blame" approach no longer survives any rational scrutiny.

Trinity Mirror and CT also told to Shut Up

I think that the balanced approach makes absolute sense while you believe that there is a chance of both parties acting reasonably. Following the events of the last week, even the most optimistic must be accepting that this is unlikely. At that point, it would seem sensible to reappraise.

That is true Tony, however I thought that Mr Wisdom was referring to the libel trial when Jonathan Aitkin sued the Guardian and made a rousing statement along similar lines: "If it falls to me to start a fight to cut out the cancer of bent and twisted journalism in our country with the simple...

The Mr Labovitch interview CWR 06/12/2013

This is where SISU's plan does make sense. By taking the club to Northampton they minimise the attendances and hence keep all the "match day costs" as low as possible. Genius really.

    SISU score an own goal

ML was pedalling the "no offer has been made directly to the club" line. CL said, so you're saying no offer has been made?, forcing ML to admit that an offer had been received via the FL. He also pressed ML on costs at Sixfields v the offer for the Ricoh, which ML declined to answer. He...

To be fair to Clive Eakin he did press ML on tonight's programme.

The minutes from the Supporters Consultative Group meeting on December 4th

I think it's all pretty clear: The nice Mr ML said that no offer had been made directly to the club and the nice Mr TF said that the offer that hadn't been made to the club was no good and besides he doesn't like the people who made it - so there!

The minutes from the Supporters Consultative Group meeting on December 4th

Summary: We're still doing lots of planning on the new stadium that 6 months ago, we said would be ready in 3 years We won't rent the Ricoh at any price because they're really nasty and we don't like them

Bit confused.... Are you suggesting that Tim is planning to move us to a different country? ;)

Didn't Jimmy Saville threaten to sue people? Didn't Jonathan Aitkin sue the Guardian? Didn't Jeffrey Archer threaten to sue people? etc etc Libel cases are so expensive that the threat of action is often sufficient.

One of those true 'where were you when...' moments

Remember going to University in the 70's and wondering who this guy was, that the "Mandela Bar" in the Students' Union was named after. An amazing inspirational man. RIP.

    Tim says sorry

Only if they'd refused to accept the lower rent that was offered, which would have been a little perverse......

Support the lads...for the final push

If attendances are important, could I make the radical suggestion that SISU accept the offer to return to the Ricoh rent free. The players will get the extra support, SISU will get the extra income. Everyone's a winner.

The Football League and SISU - justify

In dispute with a landlord who wants to give them a rent free deal :)
