A great result today, and another clean sheet!
I know we've played 3 poor teams so far, but that means we are picking up points while our new boys get time to settle in and get up to speed.
I think once Allen gets in the team we will really start to see some great movement, and I can see us...
I think the council/ACL may have known that ccfc were struggling with the rent for some time.
The rental agreement was only really affordable while we were in the top flight, and once we sold our rights to match day revenues the writing was on the wall.
But ACL had budgeted for that level of...

I totally agree that ccc could have conducted the sale of the ricoh in a much more open and transparent way (this is the crux of Sisu's legal case) but unfortunately it appears from the outside, that ego's and individual vendetta's had taken over, and this is where the council were at...
That would of been ideal. But once sisu had tried to financially distress the council by deliberately withholding rent, I'm afraid the council were reluctant to even engage with them (this is where in starts to become personal with ego mania taking over)
I have no doubt that ccc could well of...
Tell us all then, what did you expect the council to do with an empty stadium, which was a burden on the rate payers and needed costly maintenance and upkeep, and how where the council to cover the hole in their finances due to the lost rental income?
No one is saying it's ok.
The whole sorry saga is a total cluster fuck from start to finish.
But it's amazing how the people who got the club in so much shit that we were on the brink of administration before sisu arrived get away with hardly any criticism at all.
But ccfc's intention to build their own stadium was still there, and indeed still is.
I have no wish to defend an incompetent council who have made numerous errors in this whole debacle, but faced with the facts as they were at that time I cant in all honesty blame them.
Wasps were just taking...
Complete nonsense.
Ccfc had broken a legally binding rental agreement, moved out of coventry and made public their intention to build a stadium of their own.
Wtf did you expect the council to do then with an empty stadium?
I guess it depends how long sisu think wasps can survive for.
And how long ccfc fans will tolerate the trip to Brum.
It's a shit state of affairs, whichever way you look at it.
Dont believe everything you read in the press!
They still think we went to the moon.
They still think princess Diana's death was an accident
They still think 911 was the work of ISIS
They still think ccfc will build a new ground!
