Long term its not a stategy that will get you anywhere but at this moment in time staying in games and sneaking a few may be our best option, although it's a risk. Better than just assuming we can compete and getting totally outplayed. I'd hope over time the tyle would improve but when you're...

Trump is my favourite comedian of the year already

IF Biden is ahead on the night it will be an annihilation once postal votes are counted. That may happen, but I'm not assuming it will. As for Trump refusing to stand down he won't go quietly regardless - he'll be claiming for years it was rigged and some of his supporters will take it as read...

I think the players are just getting nervous about making a mistake as it's so much more likely to be punished than last season, so the muscles are more tense and they become more likely to actually make the mistake.

We've realised teams are high pressing us cos we play from the back so mixing it up a bit to make opposition have to think a bit more?

Expected Hamer back but don't like Kelly not playing. If he wasn't fit enough why not take him off against Blackburn and save him for this game as that one had looked to have gone. Not overly concerned about O'Hare dropping to the bench - he seems to be more impressive from there anyway and...

Trump is my favourite comedian of the year already

Until it's confirmed I'm not assuming anything anymore. I think Trump will hold a marginal lead on the night due to the large amount of mail in ballots, at which point he will attempt to claim victory and that postal ballots etc are fraudulent. Wouldn't be surprised to see a lot of votes go...

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

It's almost amusing how Johnson has been talking for months about vaccines and technology coming through then just a week or so ago said he didn't think a vaccine would be available for some time and now many of the experts seem to be suggesting it might be. Not to say that it will materialise...

It's a mindset that once you've gained as much as you can in terms of getting more the only way you can 'win' is by making others get less. It's a fucked up mentality yet it's one that is by nature prevalent in the rich and thus influential in the corridors of power.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I understand buying in excess given we were caught with our pants down at the start having ignored Cygnet, but to have bought nearly 60 times the amount we've supposedly used is excessive, and certainly totally unnecessary under 'emergency contracts' which avoid scrutiny. They could be bought...
