Wembley tickets sold out 5 days before the game - TICKETS: Play-Off Final - General Admission sold-out, Disabled tickets remain available - were some empty seats on the day though, probably allocated to sponsors or something.
I saw a stat once, when two teams play each other back to back in league and cup games it's rare that a team wins both. I know it should be meaningless, but one of those weird football anomalies that we'll no doubt add to.
It's terrible. Winnable, but could get turned over. Shite that we play them the week before so puts a damper on the day out, and they only got 10,000 in the 3rd round so not much of a payday either.
It's walkable though, done it a number of times. They did get that right, building right next to Filbert St. Pity we didn't have that option.
That said, I think our place has matured better. KP leaves me a bit cold.
I think it's just a summary of the stuff that has happened before, during times that were very different. Wasn't an attempt to glorify it, merely it was to illustrate that this fixture has a lot of history to it.
