    Pask v Da Costa

Really. So who's job is it to protect, or 'defend' the wide areas from opposition attacks? If the wingbacks don't track back and tackle do you think the response is going to be "it's Ok, they're a wingback. It's not their job"?

    Bristol kill the bill protest

This is exactly what I mean by boiling point. people are trying to be considerate and protest peacefully, but no-one seems to listen if you do. They don't take it seriously. Suffragettes only started to get noticed when they stopped peaceful protest and starting firebombing shops and attacking MP's.

    Bristol kill the bill protest

Any protest is going to get people from all sorts of organisations involved. Loads of protests in Britain have numerous Union flags or flag of St George. Should we therefore assume it's Britain behind it and say the govt is behind the protest? Or declare Britain a threat to itself? The most...

    Goal scorer needed

He's going to have to have an amazing recovery to be fit enough to do that. Don't get me wrong, would love to see him do it but he'd need a partner t make up for his lack of fitness and even then need replacing before the hour. Alone up front he won't last a half.

    Bristol kill the bill protest

Indeed. Fuckwits can't see this kind of action just gives those that want it more ammo to introduce it. It's so utterly stupid it's almost like you'd think they were being told to do it to gain support for the bill. Sure they are some there just wanting a bit of aggro rather than really caring...

    Bristol kill the bill protest

You feel like we live in a divided country because we do. Trouble is it's divided in so many ways. Politics, class, sex, race, sexual orientation, wealth.....

    Taxi cancelled for Robins

I'm wondering if maybe close season they'll consider adding in another coach, maybe Doyle? Might get a bit feisty him and Adi though. I think we need a forwards coach, even if it's part-time.

What if she had bollocks but identified as a woman?

    Match Thread Wycombe

Godden not fit enough to start. Walker isn't a lone front man (though he should've started against a team like Wycombe). Baka and Gyo not looked great and certainly not any better than Biamou. Yesterday it was a choice. IMO the wrong one (certainly on his own at least).

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Would it have been more worthwhile to have found somewhere to rent for a short time nearby? Appreciate cost and time away from family but when you consider petrol and just the time and effect it has on you would it have been worth it? Or did you have jobs to do in Hampshire at the same time?

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Got some people in the City making complaints that they're having to work 95 hour weeks. Want to have that maximised to 80, which is still a ridiculous number but those in the industry are fighting it. That's what happens when you get people utterly obsessed with money in charge. Couldn't give...

Have you not seen the flag? It clearly says Robins is our KING. There is no mention of God. He has a crown on his head, not a halo.

    Match Thread Wycombe

You have your first two, then a third to cover if one is injured. If that happens Biamou comes on the bench. With the large benches now you have one 'first team squad' striker to try and effect the game if necessary and a development striker to bring on for experience if you're winning...

    Taxi cancelled for Robins

MR has always been a cautious manager. The Championship seems to make him even more so, and he plays even more defensively than normal and is even more reluctant to change things. It's a shame because we've probably left a number of points on the pitch in winnable games because he's shown a...

    Match Thread Wycombe

If he's the fourth choice I see no problem with that. Trouble is this season he's effectively been first choice due to injury, tactics and others being even poorer. I doubt there's many on here that think Biamou is anything more than a squad filler at this level but he's having to play a much...

    Pask v Da Costa

I think Pask. Hopefully the extra time off will allow Rose to gain fitness (U23 game please MR!) allowing him to play the full 90 ext time. If not, Pask would have to move across and Dacosta come into the WB around the hour mark and we have to use up a sub.

    Remaining games

We've still got a few winnable games left, including a few teams around us. Towards the end of the season some of those may have nothing to play for and already be in the back garden *beach not available due to Covid restrictions* I'm also hoping Rotherham's fixture pile up will leave them...

I apologise for saying Matty James flatters to deceive

If Kelly is injured again James' contribution may become more pronounced if we replace Kelly with a more attacking option. Reckon MR will just shove Sheaf in.

Biamou still has lots to offer

Reality is a guy who started the season as fourth choice has started and played in more games than any other striker due to injuries for the most part and also some tactical ones. In an ideal situation where Godden and Walker don't get injured Max probably gets on as a sub in maybe a dozen or so...
