There were some very poor performances tonight, but the thing with Shipley is, he’s been struggling for form and confidence all season. I was surprised he started, and disappointed that we left the new guy on his own up front. That’s obviously down to MR, who isn’t doing Shipley any favours...

He needs resting for a bit, I don’t want him sold as he’s young enough to develop, but as you say he’s definitely struggling. I’d sooner play two strikers and leave Shipley on the bench. (Presuming we have two fit strikers)

And how much did we pay for those, and what do you think we would get for them if we sold them in this transfer window. Fans valuations tend to be wildly over optimistic. What do you think a potential buyer of the club would value those players contracts at?
