    Robins on CWR

MR's comments are totally baffling and at odds to what's going on on the pitch. If he's truly wanting them to be more attacking why is he filling the team with defensive minded players, esp in midfield? Why do we seem to come out after half time in games we're doing quite well in and become...

Difference is Kelly seems to be able to get performances out of those around him, James doesn't. James doesn't have that leadership and when the players heads start to go down nothing is happening to get them out of it.

The Kelly/James thing doesn't seem to work. Kelly seems to have more influence n those around him so play him.Either Hamer next to him (has been poor recently) or I'd be tempted with Eccles as he'd have the best person next to him to lead him through the game.

Hopefully Kelly back in contention - need our two most experienced and influential players back right now. If not I'd be tempted to give Eccles a go ahead of james - he's not doing what we hoped he would do at all. Dacosta has to be dropped, as do Shipley and Allen. Not sure whether to start...

Fucking Awful Friday. Players getting crucified on here and rightly so. Thankful it wasn't more. Was sceptical of the Allen/Shipley behind the lone striker and thought it seemed a bit like someone out of ideas, but was willing to give it a chance - it did not work. Dacosta has the positional...

Pedant in me wants to point out that'd have to be for the Bristol game. Good Friday is not known for being a good day for him. Just asking for him to pick up a bad injury.

I'm assuming Allen and Shipley behind Godden. Hope Godden is now fit enough to last quite a while. Biamou must be injured or resting - can't see him drop from the team to out altogether. Seems to me like he's saving someone like o'Hare for Monday. That team could do alright - it depends on how...

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

Of course we don't need a sterile environment but wearing a mask doesn't provide one. Diseases would still spread just not as quickly allowing more time and resources to treat them and potentially slowing down mutations. Not being a biologist I've no idea if this is even the way it works but I...

I'm hoping they stay in some capacity - say if you've got a cold or something and have to travel on public transport or go shopping etc. It's a courtesy to others to try and prevent diseases spreading. A lot of the Asian thinking isn't just disease like SARS but just the poor air quality. If...

    School Protests

It wasn't aimed at everyone religious. I'm sure many people who are do so because it gives them comfort from their greatest fears. It can cause a great amount of good in the world as well and there are many followers who do so because they want things to be better. Of course there will also be...

Wouldn't explain why he made the same errors at Man City and Everton before that. Fact is for a central defender he's pretty decent with the ball at his feet. Trouble is sometimes he seems to get it in his head he's Zidane or someone and his touch lets him down. He's the kind of defender I'd...

We either need to approach this game with two attacking midfielders and a striker or an attacking midfielder and two strikers. A combination of three deeper midfielders like Kelly, James and Hamer isn't going to work I reckon. If we go single striker it depends if Godden is fit enough to start...

I'm not a fan of Stones. Not good enough to be a defender but passing isn't good enough to be a midfielder. But he has done well this year at Man City.

But he's league 1 level. Given your opinion on the valuation of players here saying players aren't worth that much despite playing in the Championship, which is a different class entirely.

    rubbed off on Birmingham

Seeing Birmingham do badly (and potentially save us from relegation in the process) isn't bad but rubbing off to it? Far better things on the internet for that kind of thing if you ask me.

    Are you a fast eater

I eat hot meals fast because, well, I want them while they're hot! Starting to slow down now and trying to eat junk like crisps, chocolate and biscuits one at a time rather than say ram a handful of crisps in in one go or just put the whole biscuit in in one go.
