I think we'll unfortunately continue to see an upward trend for a while because we've got new cases coming in but the old ones are still ongoing (there's very few 'cured' cases in the stats although I'm sure many have been moved from ICU onto general wards etc to recuperate once out of danger)...

Legs XI - take the high road

Maybe we need a cut off as to what is 'exceptionally' tall - shall we say 6'3''/6'4''?

Yorkshire XI - t' ake no moor

Just looked him up. Born Glenrothes, Scotland. He was brought up in Yorkshire though which would explain the accent.

Has anyone considered he was being responsible? He was social distancing and the only place in the car two metres away from him was the boot....

It's called biological warfare and has been done before. Banned under Geneva (though how you'd actually stop it I don't know - I guess it gets tried quite often and gets foiled and not mentioned to maintain public order - can you imagine people if they got told x amount of plots have been foiled...

It's to do with classification. As the outbreaks are regional rather than global they're classified as epidemics rather than pandemics. Not that the way we look at it as largely 'not our problem' is palatable, but we do contribute towards it via foreign aid and the UN. There is also an issue...

I wasn't arguing about the rights or wrongs of it - if that's what people want and it gets them out of bed in the morning then fine. My issue is with the term of it 'bettering yourself'. Maybe it's semantics but having all this stuff may well make life easier, more enjoyable, which can easily...
