    Millwall (H) Saturday 8th May, 12:30pm

Little bit surprised by some of the selection. Would've thought Reid or Newton on bench at least to give them a run out. Also thought Dabo was injured and I don't see the point in risking him today. It's cold and wet. Also thought Sheaf was out but on the bench. If any of the squad get released...

Amazing given the reason given last time was Jeremy Corbyn.

Neither are LD or Green and are more closely aligned politically. So, why Tories?

In some ways the Cummings and Gove coup can't come soon enough as the Tories would lose the appeal of Johnson. Could you see the scrotum-cheeked one having anywhere near the same popularity as Johnson?

Which is amazing in itself considering 99% of the Covid crisis they've fucked up. Only bit they've done right is the vaccines. Had this election been when it was meant to be (and the only reason it wasn't was cos the Tories made such massive fucking errors in the pandemic planning) they'd have...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

But then why not vote Lib Dem? Or Green? Or spoil the ballot as a protest? It's all very well saying I didn't vote labour because. Tories aren't the only other option. So why Tory? Not, why not Labour. Why Tory.

Well, Boris does certainly enjoy giving nurses the clap.

Dunno how to break it to you but the Tory guy going for it was called Cockenballs.

But how do you fix the problem if you don't ask what it is? Like the missus getting the hump with you and when you ask her what's wrong her saying "you should know what's wrong and the only reason you don't is cos you never bother to ask about me" I'm literally there right now asking and you're...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I've no problem with this but what's baffling is many of those reasons given for not voting Labour apply just as much, if not more so, to the Tories.

    Jokes

I've been trying to read more and asked a friend if they'd recommend anything. He suggested I try Balzac so I went home and had a go. Saw him again a few days later and he asked if I'd taken his suggestion. I told him I had but was finding it difficult as I was getting a pain in my neck leaning...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I'm not arguing that a lot of current Labour bigwigs aren't from highly educated backgrounds. But again how many of the Tories have done that. Johnson was a member of the supposed MSM elite. So if that was such an issue to them they wouldn't vote for them. Johnson doesn't 'speak the language of...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Momentum are very offputting to many moderates. If the issue was about the middle class London centric knowing what's best for Northern working class people why are they voting for a party with a heavy influence from upper class south east centric people that think they know whats best for...

Studies have actually shown height to be as big a barrier as race and gender. Massively disproportionate number of the tallest 1% are in very powerful jobs at executive level.

This works fine until you realise that they really like the Etonian and Oxford Classics graduate who randomly whacks the odd bit of Latin into his speeches. So it ain't that that bothers them.

To be honest wouldn't you just love Boyle's style in PMQ's against Johnson! Would be constantly suspended for unparliamentary language. Corruption? Fine. Lying? Fair enough. Wasting public money? Naturally. Calling someone a c***. Too much.

I agree totally about the second point. First one I think applies to both the two main political parties. Just maybe the Tories either hide it better or the poshness somehow means some people are more willing to put up with them being condescending than others.
