    Signs are looking good

We will have serious problems scoring this season (and the next few I suspect). Draws don't cut it. Mid table side on balance

Palmer is never going to be an impact sub. The most you will get with him coming on cold is the risk of an injury. Sakamoto had to come on. Robins has to get past his favourites thing.

In theory. But the broken window at Ryton needs doing.

There’s an awful lot of expectation on COH to make midfield and attack work significantly better. A massive ask. The biggest worry is it looks like we’ve pissed away most the transfer money on a sub par front two (and not got anywhere with the ‘hamer issue’) Seriously how many goals are...

    SIGNED!!!! - Tatsuhiro Sakamoto

Saka needs to be given a fair chance. Last night was ideal for him to come on and work his socks off to bolster the team and pose some forward threat. Instead we got Robin’s favourite Palmer.

Godden and Palmer are Robin's favourites. It's a weakness that costs us.

Probably a game to drop Godden and put in Sakamoto to work hard to support midfield and link to Wright. Never going to happen.

How about what everyone uses goals(mediocre) and assists(dreadful)

His record over the last few seasons is nowhere near top 6. As very frequently mentioned over the years he is often anonymous and doesn’t contribute enough. Despite that he was auto picked by Robins and not subbed. There is a cost to that favouritism. Ditto Palmer.

Is Godden a top 6 striker? No he isn’t. Is he better than Simms at the moment? Probably. Easy decision for Robins to choose him at the moment because he’s scoring. But he needs to get over his favouritism when he doesn’t because he doesn’t contribute enough.

I bet you were given a week off by the boss when you got back.

Just saw Ellis Simms mooching around Earlsdon. Someone should tell him we've got a game on Fri and to stop slacking. He’s played about 90 mins of football in a month. I’m surprised he can walk. Needs another week off at least.

Only if we have a thread on Robin’s weakness in getting a fit, athletic squad.

For the hard of thinking... if you are a fit athletic professional committed footballer have a nice holiday. If you are blowing out your arse after 60 minutes game after game, google ‘athlete’ and ‘professional’, have a look at yourself and sort the fooker out pronto.

Poor dears. Most of them wouldn’t last a day in the NHS. Pampered as fook.

We have had fitness and injury problems for years. MR and the coaching staff have been weak on this. It needs looking at.

A professional footballer who wants to get anywhere with their career should be an athlete capable of contributing 90 mins+ The fact many can’t do that and apparently have to be made to do it in training rather than as a lifestyle is disappointing especially for the money they are getting.
