Robins needs a rocket up his own arse tbh. Too defensive. Too much Palmer love. Too much chopping and changing e.g.. Thomas. Too late subs. No formation flexibility. Poor after match comments e.g. on Sakamoto.

If Robins made a mistake in bringing him in and is just going to mess the lad about and bad mouth him then just let him go. Personally I think he has talent, athleticism and is a gutsy committed player. He should be an asset if you just play him as an attacking player.

You would expect a manager to do a lot more than look at data for a multi million pound purchase. At least watch some full games played, have a report on local sports media views etc.

Obviously Doug has the final say because he controls the money. But responsibility for identifying which players to bring in lies with the manager.
