I'd be ok with that as well as the PM v Opposition. Public don't necessarily have access to the same info and some just don't get it. Johnson would probably do quite well in that sort of scenario - gets to play his bumbling buffoon character. Plus you'd get those that support the party going on...

I was a bit annoyed that Starmer wasn't give a chance to reply to Johnson claim of wanting to see NHS workers properly paid by asking why he's consistently voted against pay rises for them and was part of the cheering mob that defeated a bill aimed to pay them more.

He was a bit better than last week but still got owned. If they let it go back to the braying mob it'll be a travesty and show it's got nothing to do with accountability. I'd be quite happy for there to just be a weekly televised meeting between the PM and opposition leader with no-one else...

On a slight tangent but relevant if anyone was still in doubt that the plan is to roll over and have our tummy tickled by the US a motion to outlaw chlorine washed chicken in future trade agreements was defeated. I think that says a lot about whether we intend to stand up for our own standards.

Read the story and a few lines in say the US are keen to make a deal. If you're letting the US in the whole thing becomes meaningless. Highest number of cases, highest number of deaths - come on in! And if I was another country I'd have us on the banned/isolation high risk list

    salary cap proposed

Not a fan of arbitrary figures for all clubs in a league. Some have the financial means to spend more than that without financial problems, others would stretch themselves. It seems to punish fans who follow their team through thick and thin and teams who are performing well and thus likely to...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

For me I think you do need to look at things like that. If one team has to play the top six the other the bottom six but just using PPG thus far would see the team with the easier run in relegated doesn't feel reflective of what is likely to happen in reality. If you've got the same PPG as...

    Things that freak you out

Yeah, it's almost on par with deja vu. That's another thing that freaks me out. Might do some research on it!

What use is capacity if you don't use it? Still loads of people who should be being tested and aren't.

    Not using Cash since lockdown

Largely agree on the cashless issue but I still have some issues with going non-paper. Books etc - e-books are brilliant - but for records still not overly happy. Years ago I put all the family history stuff my nan has done on the computer and also digitised a lot of the old photos. The family...

Living alone the quiet means you hear every little creak and you can get quite paranoid about all the little sounds you hear. I understand why some people constantly feel the need for background noise.

    Things that freak you out

But if you have no fear of something are you really being brave? I'm scared of heights (well, technically I'm scared of the ground), so going up a ladder I find very uncomfortable. However I'm not scared of spiders but there are some people that run off screaming at the sight of them. I'm not...

If that's how they plan they're fucked. It's on a par with "my retirement plan is to win the lottery"

Do you even realise they have to prepare all the stuff they have to teach, get all the materials ready, lesson plan, mark, etc. Does your work only start and finish when you're actually in meetings, on the phone etc or is most of it preparing for those meetings etc?

When you say your daughter has been in school with 30 other pupils, is that in total or in her class? Primary teacher goes back teaching a class of 30+. Kids have no clue as to the dangers, social distancing etc. Need to touch everything. Little germ factories. Secondary teacher goes back...
