    Training Wear

You'd have thought given the physique of many football fans shirts nowadays would automatically be designed to be able to accommodate women too. Although with the bellies it'd probably be sold as maternity wear in most shops.

I'd still use a Hazmat suit if I were you. Even if there was no Covid.

Would be great apart from one small snag - the 'fund accordingly' bit. Remember this is the Tories, who don't do investing in services, and many influential people want to see the NHS sold off.

This is basically the gamble Johnson alluded to last Feb/Mar. Get everything open, steal a march on everyone else. He's never really gone away from it ideologically. As he said himself he'd rather have the bodies piling up in the streets.

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

I just assumed it must be people complaining about restrictions being lifted (and the nonsensical thing of them all gathering close together to do so). To be complaining about lockdown when pretty much everything has been lifted or become 'advisory' is nothing short of monumentally stupid. The...

And this reporting is part of the problem. It describes the population going down as a crisis. Not that it would give more resources per person, or that it could improve wages and working conditions due to reduced competition, but as a crisis. In history things have got better for the average...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Well if that were true why is the population continuing to increase? Currently by around 80m people per year (which is lower than its peak around 1990 of around 90m but still 80MILLION extra people to feed and provide for EVERY YEAR. UN expects it to keep growing and likely to be beyond...

Sadly we wouldn't, because like all species as soon as we have enough to be comfortable all we do is reproduce until we've got a larger population that's hungry.

    F1 2021

Way I saw it was Lewis was pretty much level approaching the corner, realised he was coming in too hot to take the apex and backed out. Just didn't quite do it quick enough before Max took the racing line. Not like he just piled into him with a late lunge - he backed off. I see it as closer to...

It would be better, as plant crops take up less space than that needed for animals to produce the same amount of food. If we switch to stuff like insects as an alternative it would be an improvement. Trouble is a lot of pastoral land isn't suitable for arable farming due to soil, location etc...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Sadly, when you look at any of the problems facing the world and trace them back, almost all of them start because there's too many of us around to be sustainable. It's something that could be sorted in a generation if we could get rid of the cultural and religious ideologies around the world...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

To be fair though we do have an economy that's based almost entirely on consumption and growth of that consumption over time. This is because the metrics governments use to measure 'success' are based around them and so therefore have to promote them to be seen to be successful and achieving...

    Sevilla Highlights

Do these coaches not actually watch any footage of players getting the ball over the wall? It happens regularly. Yes, it requires decent technique and that's why the players train to be able to do it regularly. I get the thing about seeing the ball but if you cant see it unless you're standing...

    George Curtis

Very sad news. Legend is massively overused these days but George was a legend among legends. And so much more than that besides. A gentleman and just a nice guy in general. RIP George.
