As has been said many times we don't get the basics right - all over the pitch. Not at all helped by chopping and changing and playing people out of position. Decide on the first 11, coach them properly on the basics and play them for at least half a dozen games.

It's also a worry that new players like BTA are very openly saying they don't want to play the position the have been put in. There's weakness in the management team. Robins approach seems to be having some favourites, brooding and dropping people in a huff. That isn't working to motivate.

If we are near the relegation zone in January, Robins will be sacked. My real concern is actually we have pissed all the money on a lot of oddball and/or bang average players.

Rudoni needs to be a focal point for us at the moment. He needs to make himself available and step up to the challenge. He clearly has potential. Let's see it.

It's just whether his deadpan manner isn't the greatest of motivators. We often start games pretty flat. No doubt he is a thoughtful manager with tactical nouse. Just whether we lack someone to get them stirred up.

Just keep Bassette, BTA, Wright and Rudoni together for a few games. Develop that relationship. And keep Thomas in there.

Probably true but he has clearly improved significantly so who knows if he keeps putting the hard work in.

I think Ben Wilson deserves a lot of credit for going away, as a bit of an unconfident mess tbh, and coming back almost reinvented. He has shown over a number of games now, a new composed and confident approach. Much calmer and more thoughtful while still making some fine saves. Sure lots to...

I must be missing the Simms skillset that would make him a good right wing player! His problem as a target man is that he is so limited. Not great at holding up and laying off the ball, not great in the air, can't really control the ball and take it past a defender, doesn't chase and hassle...
