Happy with the team. Hopefully get off to a good start, and if we do we won't take our foot of the gas as we have done the last few times.

Yep. Know a few people who had really nasty colds or similar recently. Usually get over them quickly but were bad for about a week so I guess their immune system took a bit of time to catch up with the new variants.

Hull City v Coventry City Song Review

If there is I want to see this one live with the costume changes. Wonder if he'll start covering the U23's for 'B' sides? I'm also trying to second guess what track he'll use for a Bonfire Night theme? Probably one of the many songs named 'firework(s)'. Although given how much he seems to...

I see the argument but people seem to think that Hamer doesn't play to his best with Kelly next to him despite, as you say, it should give him the chance to be more attacking and adventerous. Not sure I agree entirely with that assessment

Home game so prefer the more forward thinking option. Plus we've heard that Swansea don't do well with the press so having one midfielder who will sit on the toes of the back four for most of the game probably isn't the way to go. I think Allen would be better suited to this.

    The Girl Guiding Thread

With the Queen she's never really offered an opinion on things as she's understood her role is ceremonial and to do so could well have led to the abolition of the monarchy, especially in the late 60's, 70's and 80's. I'm sure that must be frustrating for her, and on the occasions where she's...

    The Queen

It's awkward but Year 7 is when we started sex ed, which I think is necessary as some of those kids will be reaching puberty and need to understand what is going on and why. If they just learn that sex is something that happens between a man and a woman it can start that idea that anything other...

    How many city this afternoon?

Who says I don't want to remember? I observe the silences. I buy a poppy and am more than happy to wear it. I'm breaking this down into two elements. The first is the commemoration of the servicemen and women. That bit I'm fully behind. The second is how this message is often hijacked and the...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Or because growth, expansion and conquest made it too big to control. Also if you invade places and take all it's riches as your own you can hardly be surprised when people in those conquered lands want to move to the place that's taken it. But to be fair to Boris he's doing a great job of...
