I agree we’ve invested exceptionally well this summer. Rudoni, BTA and EMC are real coups for me. But this is the Championship. It’s an utter dogfight. If we have decent luck with injuries I’d be disappointed with anything outside the top 8. I also suspect we might have to fend off some late...

We’re doing some really shrewd business this summer. Mason-Clark, Rudoni, Thomas-Asante in. In the Championship you need lots and lots of goals. We look really strong up top.

Don’t get the negativity for Kitching. He and Thomas looked solid for a good chunk of last year (Kichings first at this level). He’ll turn out to be a fantastic investment.

Pre-season so I still don’t think anything matters until Stoke. But EMC looks extremely solid business. Also, it’s human nature to get excited about new signings but Allen has such value to this squad. Dovin was assured.

I have my doubts as to whether he’s good enough to be a real top class prem striker. He’s done well in the champ and in a middling league. Still, I’ll not care as long as we get a load of cash.
