So worst case scenario is: Strong team, pick up an injury or two due to fatigue, get beat anyway.

Most of the U21's and promising U18 played for the U21's today, so not going to see them on the bench. Which pretty much leaves us with the first team, who're fucked.

We should not let this go, the game is corrupt to the core

At Wembley fine. Otherwise every ground would just ensure they had their own fans behind both goals.

    No they're not. Both U18 and U21 are 9th out of 11.

Even if he was 20 I wouldn't say he could be world class.

    24/25 changes?

Pretty sure MR would. Seemed a big fan. On a free probably, though it would almost certainly see the end of Bidwell.

    U18/U21 Development Thread

I've noticed the last couple of seasons very little gets released about the U18's. Can almost never find out a line up or who scored about 40% of the goals. I've got Dausch down as confirmed scoring 8 for the U18's this season, but there's 22 goals I don't know the scorer, so he could have 30...

    Callum O'Hare

For anyone joining a PL team as even a regular squad player you'd be looking at double that. I imagine the offer we put to him would've been around that, if not slightly more.

First things first, do not play anyone carrying any sort of injury. No point risking them and make sure they're going to be fit for pre-season training. 2nd, don't play anyone that won't be here next year. Kelly, Godden and O'Hare etc. can say their goodbyes against QPR. 3. Give the youngsters...

    24/25 changes?

There isn't but I think you're likely to get two players from those leagues compared to one from league 1 for the same transfer fee. So basically allows you to have a bit more leeway for poor transfers.

Well he won't be. He's suspended for the first match ;)

He's still relatively young for a centre half so can improve but he really needs to get rid of that urge to pull someone back when they go past him. He's been decent enough overall, but not £4.5m decent. I also thought he'd have been earmarked as the Fadz replacement but I don't see that...

Ipswich fans planning to be in the South Stand

While I'd quite like Ipswich to go up, from our point of view I think it might be better if Leeds did instead as I think Leeds are likely to be strong again next year whereas Ipswich might just fall away.

    24/25 changes?

Given we'll have Saka, EMC, Wright and Palmer able to cover the wide and attacking midfield places I wouldn't mind if we got an energetic box-to-box no.8 rather than a traditional 10. But I'll be greedy and say I want both.

Coaches always seemed to talk more about how he was really quiet rather than anything. Though I was disappointed I never got to air my Milkybar kid song for him.

    Sheaf

I only think he'll go if he wants to, and I only think he'll want to if he has a definite offer from the PL. Trouble is I can't see him being anyone's big target they want through the door early, so chances are it'd happen late in the window and that'd leave us a bit fucked if we're not...

    The no loans strategy

Personally I'd still rather limit teams to a squad of around 40 players, no caveats, and let the talent that get horded by the bigger clubs filter down the system for smaller clubs to benefit from both on the pitch and financially from their development.
